I usually do a 20%-30% markup.  Its like the labor of putting it together, making sure everything runs correctly and all that good stuff.  You should also take thought of how it looks.  If its a regular white-box then you shouldn't really charge extra, but if its something that looks really neat, and new age technology you can add a couple more bucks to the price for looks.  People like design, its the first thing they see.

Probably around there. Go north of 1,000 CDN and I believe you'd be in the territory of what companies like ibuypower.com will pull off for that build; 'cept I doubt you'd have customer service, warranties, refund policies and such.

    You're in the right range.

Remember, all those parts now cost about 40% less then they did a couple months ago.

I would say about $500.  You can get 8 GB of RAM for only 90 bucks (good quality) and like the last poster said those hardware pieces do go down in value fast

i agree with $500, you know those things update every week, so it's a usual thing that they are 20%-30%less than that you bought it.

I think you are in trouble....   look at completed listings on Ebay for gaming PC's.... they sell terribly cheap... I wanted to start building and selling gaming PC's but they sell for less then I can buy the parts for =(

Maybe if you find someone local that wants it you might do ok.  First price what it would cost to build it today... and start there.
