Some new screenies of the Vault of Foes (Solo Dungeon)

Check them out here.

The Chronicles of Spellborn offers group content, but it also possible for the players to experience instances on their own.

One of these challenges is waiting on the fragment of The Athenaeum located in the tempestuous Deadspell Storm. Accessible at level 10 after players have successfully left the starting regions behind, one of their tasks will be to go to the Athenaeum to experience the unique solo instances available in the massive dungeon.

These instances are called the Consanguineous Vaults are ruled by the Veridan faction, the followers of the Oracle and its teachings.

The first Vault, called Vault of Foes, features enemies of ancient times, prisoner from the Undying Ice. After interacting with an NPC telling more about the purpose of the Vault and the lore behind the encounter, players will thaw the foes from the Ice and use their skills to defeat them.

Looks very nice.

They better get this released by the 9th or I might just have to move to France.

I'm a bit underwelmed by these pics, but thanks for the links.  I think the screenshots don't really do the game justice.  Like WOW, it probably looks much better in motion.

One thing in particular that stands out to me are the size of the feet in relation to the length and thinness of the legs.  It's a very stylized presentation.  In terms of superficialty and fluff, I can appreciate when developers give us the tools to create attractive avatars.

I sure hope you are right, because I played these vaults in beta and open beta. Havent played the game after launch, but I would be surprized if they took out the vault quests between open beta and launch...

Look reminds me a LOT of Guild Wars, at least from those pics. I guess we'll have to see if it's more overwhelming once it goes live for us here.

You can play it right now if you're in the 2.5% of the world where it is currently released.
