Is the RP community still around?

Although I'm playing WoW at the moment, I've actually got past the whole 'I hate questing/grinding' thing that made me quit so many MMOs, including warhammer. I've never had the bawls to quest for 14 hours a day to gain two levels, but I've been doing that for the past 3 or 4 days. I've been making use of my winter break.
Not like theres anything better to do in my neighborhood.
Anyway, is the Warhammer RP community still around?

And I'm not sure if there is much RP in WAR, outside of the PvP'ers "WAAAAAHG!" that sometimes happend when he wants some lol'erskatez ftw's.
lol sorry I'm not much of an RPer so I don't really know. I know there's RP servers
. I haven't seen much RP so far but I'm only level 8 and on just a core server.
If you're on a U.S. account, join us on Kirin Tor. We got a fair amount of RP, and we don't suck at lore correct RP like Moon Guard.
Just stay away from silvermoon inns most of the time, otherwise you'll find werewolves, vampires and probably werewolf daemon vampire succubus lesbians who are daughters of thrall.
I prefer the Brill inn.

The point of this is WAR though-is there even an rp community out there for it?
I play on phoenix throne rp server.There is a little rp but not alot.I join rp severs more for the community.They seem to be more mature and you dont have to see all the stupid names people name there toons or guilds.I do rp when i meet someone new or in region chat or group.But i would say must people dont.I like to rp but its not must its more for the mindset.Dont have to see ikillyou or pajama raider.All in all phoenix throne is a populated server with a good community.
Sadly, I have seen those (types of) names in the rp servers on WoW. It is something that you really can't escape...Hence why I actually NAME my characters (hehehehe-ty random name generators that aren't from the game sites).
However, I am assuming that you are speaking about WAR still-if not, ouch.
It's good to see that the rp community exists, however "light" it might be. And I really (REALLY) need something to make up for WoW, it has failed me too much.
RP in WAr. I'll break it down easy.
If you play with dwarves or greenskins on an RP server, 50% of the time they will RP in some form. Many players of these toons use the dwarf and orc speak mods, which gives them a nice boost for RP.
I noticed many dwarf RPers will actually RP the standard drunkard who likes tools and hates pansies.
Greenskin players do a god job playing the overly violent dumb dumb.
People who play humans don't RP well. Usually the most you'll get are people who do battle crys for Sigmar, bless you in the name of Sigmar, basically Sigmar stuff. After that, it is like talking to any other person in a game. I did meet someone who played as a mental case who had a toy doll named Siggy who talks to him. Ah Tizok I miss your insane character.
People who play elves fail horribly at RP in this game and any other game. They just don't RP at all. I met 2 high elf RPers and they were AWESOME. One was a female swordmaster who did the proper speaking noble who used big words and often got along with people. Her friend was a White Lion jerk who liked killing and often attempted to boss people around, only to get a scolding by her friend. They were a good team that clicked really well when they met in game.
So bottom line. There is RP but only 2 races do it really well.
...Ouch. Thats one better than WoW

I was on a RP server and it was dead as a ghost town...rolled on another server and played a goblin and even 'takin like dat and like dis' was enough to get abuse of being a RP nerd....for that and other reasons i cant be bothered with rping on mmos now its either to hardcore or you just get abuse.
