I hope there is a wide variety of people to fill the classes if everyone was a rouge then that would suck. Like in AC everyone was either a sword, bow, or Mage.
Originally posted by Coldmeat I'm currently enjoying both a Priest, and a Druid. I have a level 5ish hunter that I haven't really played, and a 34 Pally from the stress test.
ST was 10 days from what I hear... I never was in it tho, but is it possible to lvl up to 34 in 10 days?
plus you have a lvl5 hunter... is the lvling easy?
Yes, some people got in the 40's, it seems like they spent their time wisely, I spent tons of time fishing to feed my hunter's pet, they seem to be one of the most solo-friendly class, although they don't offer very much to the group. They'll probably level at a medium, or upper medium rate compared to other classes, it depends on how you play it. I'll play (as a main) a dwarf hunter, with fishing, but I can't decide between leatherworking/skinning-or mining/engineering. With a troll priest, and a tauren warrior or shaman.
I'll probably play a troll priest as a main during open beta, with a human paladin, doing the dwarf quests three times in a row would be dull and repetitve.

I sort of slacked off after day 7 when the contest was originally supposed to end, so I actually made it to 33 in 7 days, then dorked around for 2 days to get to 34. I just pvp'd for a while in Ratchet on the last day.
My Priest is level 18 with 1 day 10 hours /played. I've been kind of slacking, doing tradeskills as well. That's all been solo, except for a couple of the tougher quests.
I also have a level 7 Druid. Did that in roughly an hour or two. If I knew my way around the NE areas, it'd have been faster. I really haven't done much with the Hunter, so I can't say how well they do leveling wise. There seems to be plenty of them on the pvp server, so they can't be too bad. Mage is the fastest leveler solo. Many mages made it to 40 during the ST, and a few were close to 50. Obviously they missed most of the content along the way, as from those I spoke to, they didn't really do any quests, just ground out mobs at a rediculous pace.

I'll try all the classes eventually, but I'll start off with an Undead Priest.
