Hello future WOW players!!!
I’m here to let you know about our raid guild Sacred Alliance at http://sawow.guildwizard.com and that we are currently recruiting. As a current guild member I believe we bring something to the guild structure that I have not seen yet in any other guild. That is a structure for raiding that is used to equip our member’s main character with the best items possible. Right off I will say it is set up for the hard-core player in mind, however we do recognize how important the casual player is to our guild too. Therefore I will do my best to describe what we offer to both the hard-core and casual player.
Hard-core Players:
As a hard-core player you will reap the most benefit of our raid system since it is structured much like the DKP system for EQ. The reason the hard-core player will reap the most rewards of this system is how our loot priority is set up. Some of these, but not limited to, are attendance, including being on time for raids and staying till it ends. Thus if you have attendance below a minimum required level, say 30% or so, you may find the next person down the kill points list win the item because they have double or better your attendance rate. All weapons of desirability will be awarded based on an attendance %, rather than a players current kill point pool. Also if you did not participate in the clearing that some mobs required for at least 50% (estimated), you may have a lower loot priority then those that did. Finally, some key pieces will not be bid on and will be assigned 2-4 points for those that win the /random 1 100 roll.
For a full explanation of how our raids work visit our site at http://sawow.guildwizard.com and read through the links under raid information on our site.
Also if you’re wondering how the heck are you going to keep track of all this? Well it’s very simple we have a custom database built into our web site to keep track of it all. So after each raid the attendance sheet is entered in and you are awarded your kill points for the raid, which you attended.
Casual Players:
The casual players are probably wondering what the guild could possibly offer them with this raid set up?
One thing we offer is, but not limited to, how you can level up your crafting skills much faster through using the guild bank. All known skill trade items go into the guild bank. These items are available to any guild member completely free of charge so that you can level your crafting skills as quickly as possible. After you are contacted or you contact us for any particular items for crafting in the guild bank they will be given to you in a very timely manner. After you have crafted the items you are required to give these items back to the guild bank for other higher crafters to use. Also, crafted items, such as armor and/or weapons, which are made can be purchased by other members with their kill points. So regardless of how many raids you attend as a casual player you will still be able to outfit your main character with rather good armor without any money out of your pocket.
Also, all items that are passed over from a raid are made available to all members to purchase with their kill points.
Another is you have the help of higher level members with quests and getting items, as long as you yourself are within a level range to do the quest or go get the item. This will make your experience much more smoother and faster, allowing you to move on to your next goal in the game.
Finally it is an environment where both types of players can come together and play. Instead of a guild that tailors to one or to the other, so there is no need for a casual player to go join a less active guild or a hard-core player to leave for a more active one. This helps to create a true family within the guild. A family where everyone benefits and everyone, more importantly, can have fun that offers the most for every kind of player.
I would like to make one final point though, if you are in game at the time of a raid you should be in attendance casual or hard-core.

I would like to come and personally invite people to come and check out our guild. I really do feel it is a notch above others, as far as good environment, organization and commitment to each other is concerned. So come and check us out if you have any question please feel free to post them here or our own forums and we will be more than happy to answer them for you.
Wow... sounds a lot like my guild... with the hardcore/casual player base.
Hmm...
What will he do next?
We have updated our FAQ's page on our site. They are a set of questions that have been brought up by future players of WOW in different forums were we have advertised our guild. So if you don't find the answer about our guild that you looking for on that page, please be sure to ask because not only does it help you learn more about us. It helps us also inform current members and players that are looking more about us.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you who have visited our site from this forum. But I did wanted to let everyone know since Blizzard says in there FAQ that the game will be released in 2004 you can get into our guild simple by applying.
However after release things will be much different, you will be required to go on 4 raids before joining, at least 4 members of the guild must sponsor you one of which must be an officer, there will be a 30 day trial period, there will be a level requirement, and item requirements made be added as well.
This is a lot to do in order to get into what I think is one of the best alliance guilds out there. So if youre interested in our guild this is the best time to take us up on our open invitation to join.

We are now going to require members not to be part of any other guild on same server we are on. There are to many conflicts of interest that can arise battlegrounds being a big one. However you will be allowed to have you're alts join the guild if you want other then horde alts, which you still may have but they can not belong to a guild on our server. You may also have other alts on different servers in a guild as long as that guild does not have a guild on our server too.
We are also going to start promoting RP since it has found a home in many of our threads. However we will not require it.
Also since open beta is going to start soon we wanted to remind any of those still thinking about joining our guild do so while it is still relatively easy. We will also stop allowing new players to join the guild once we reach 60 members or the day the game is released which ever comes first. As long as you get your application in before we reach our 60 member limit you will be allowed in even if it puts us over. All other applications we get after that will be put on a waiting list. We will send emails out to those when we start enlisting new members after retail but that will not be till we have our raid system finalized.
If you have any further questions about the guild please visit our forums to ask them there because once open beta starts we will no longer be checking this thread daily like we have been.
Thanks.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith
