Yes it would be free for now. Let's wait for the beta-test. But since this is hosted in the Philippines, It would be cheaper if you wanna pay for it (but also beware of lamers LOL). They will I think get different modes of payment like prepaid, paypal and I dont know if credit card.

Actually, this is the first release of the English version of this game. They are translating it here. There are posts in tantraboards about experiences of the GMs and some fortunate people who already tested it (could have some friends @ the company).

I suggest you register now and put in all necessary details that would make them choose you in closed beta.

oh BTW, this site is so helpful. Ive been using this for years!

ive actually played the korea verision of it its not bad decent combat could of been alot better its the same as lienage2 and WoW's drives me insain to think of people who can get away with horrable combat like this.....this is korea for ya though on the other hand there has been those who made great combat korean games

The game is awesome. It is pretty amazing how it runs so fast without slowing down my PC with my GF2 Tornado 64mb Graphics Card. I can even Surf while playing! As for the controls, it's so damn easy. For the camera angles, it's not like pristontale but it's cool too.

The PvP is open, its similar to Lineage II's PvP.

PvP
The PK rule of TANTRA gives high regard to individual acts and each user is responsible for their own action. There are two major PKs. Common field PK and major God battle PK. In common field, PK is considered a crime and player gets penalty. In major God battle PK is considered as a war that gives a Brahma point. Low level players are protected from PK.

Penalty in PK
Common player: 1% experience points

Killer player: 5% experience points, part of Rupiah, and random item drop.

Karma Points
Karma points are crime points. They increase when a player kills another player. This does not include killer players and leading attack players.

For each monster killing, Karma points will decrease. To be a common player, one should achieve 0 Karma point.

For every PK of killer, 250 Karma points are deducted.

Well, glad over one thing, low lvls are protected heh. High lvl people that kill n00bs are so pathetic imo.

Game seems fun indeed. I have a problem with registering though, get a 'Invalid user id format' msg the whole time. And no, I don't use symbols nor do I have less than 6 or more than 50 letters. ::::03::

Edit: Ok, got in, can't use a capital at the start of the user ID it seems ::::35::

So how is the character customization? Asian games seem to be so limiting in this regard. It's almost a must for me in a game to be able to configure past a couple of cookie-cutter options. Any one?

i got into the beta, and so far i'm not impressed. all you do is kill monsters, get money+items, repeat. there's alot that's left to be implemented, but nothing that overcomes that aspect of linear gameplay. oh yeah, and it looks ok.

It reminds me alot of pristontale, but I actually like it for now since I am just waiting for WoW..and it keeps me busy

Plus my archer is overpowered
