Cosmos Corrupt?

Wow, an interesting couple of threads:

I was interested in taking a look at it when it came out but never really planned to make much use of it.  After reading that, I'm not touching the thing.

    When retail comes there will most likely be alot of others to use than just cosmos. Thats pritty weak that the coder would do that but at the same time its quite entertaining ::::29::

    I'd rather Blizzard just implimented the really usefull stuff from Cosmos into the UI, then I don't have to deal with some dimwit like that, but that's just me.

    Looks like the one that did it apologized, though who knows what'll happen the next time he gets huffed up about something.  Ahh well.  I didn't get to use any of that 3rd party stuff in the stress test and had fun without it.  I dont really see a need for any of it.

    I don't like the whole idea of cosmos, etc.

    Like Coldmeat said, I wish Blizzard would just put the useful stuff(not the stuff that plays the game for you), and ban Cosmos and other programs like it.

    excuse the ignorance, but what is cosmos?

    I have been on their site, but yah i didnt get it anyways lol so if someone explained i would appreciate it. tnx

    About the only real things I use in it are the extra hotkey bars, the buff timers. everything else I could live without, really, though some of the info is pretty cool to have handy, like the stuff on the clock.

    Cosmos is basically a set of 3rd party macro scripts that enhance the user interface and allow for automation of some of the game features.
