Here's basically all the information I can find on it in English so far. If anyone is handy with chinese(?) they can figure out the trial setup and get a key for the beta that starts in a week. Anyone want to take a crack at it? From the youtube video is looks pretty sweet, slightly more urban PS, since I don't know chinese I'm not sure exactly how the game is setup leveling wise, but the maps at the page below look ridiculous.

as a Planetside fan, I want this one be playable here on europe.
and yes, looks like planetside, with smaller maps and better graphcis
I think i got a cd key from them but my email wont display chinese chars, anyone know an email that will?

Gmail use UTF8, so will show your chinnese chars. You may also need to install the "assian fonts".
You may also try to save the file as a something.eml and open it with Firebird, or Outlook, or other email agent.
Anyway, If that thing has assia servers, the ping will be horrible from europe and usa, no?
Go play this thing, and report back. I want to know how realistic is the "copter" alike ships, and how big hare the maps.

Ohh damn, that does look really nice, Now if they brought the game to North America they may make some money. It looks good enough to pay a monthly fee. Im sure it would need to be tweaked a bit for a NA market but, it looks damn fine from that youtube vid.

I will chose red, because the "max" looks awesome
the games atmosphere and gameplay looks an aweful lot like tribes 2. Does it have persistant characters to where you log in the same guy and level him up with equipment and what not? or is it just log in and play, without any character progression?

Am I the only one here that thinks it's rather funny for a Chinese developer to essentially ride off the success of an American IP? Stereotypes for Chinese industry, anyone? Hopefully they won't be "adding" content for "improvements" like they added lead to paint. LOL
It's been nearly six months since we first played RC1 closed beta.
We've been playing the new RC2 Open Beta for a while now and like what we see. If you are interested in joining the beta, we've got a tutorial in the wiki at http://welkin4591.com that will help you set up an account and download the client and patches.
If you have any problems getting Welkin4591set up, just post on the forums or hop on Teamspeak and we'll get you up and running.

Take all this with a pinch of salt. I'm yet to see evidence of an english publisher. A chinese web site and a lot of people using babelfish does not constitute an EU/NA release of Planetside 2 :P

This game's graphics are very good
but i'm not gonna play it, i still prefer high speed anime shooters like S4 League
The game will be renamed as Mars War.
Here are some introductions:
Mars War is a Massive Multiplayer Online First Person war game.
The background story starts at a mainland called "Mars". Two camps started a war for the resources on the mainland.
Every new player who joined the game will become a new recruit and start your life as a soldier.
The game involves traditional FPS game features and also enlarge the game size. It allowed more than one thousand players to fight at the same time, wealth of game content.
It also involves other type of game features such as role playing and strategy.
Game interface and sound is one of the main bright spot about the game.
Complex scenes in the game, battles from land to air.
Vehicles bumps up and down with the road, accompanied by realistic sound effects of war, it's like a real battlefield.
