nope, the negotiations are already done, we are waiting for gameguard to build the server files for Spellborn.

i will be posting the status of the release in the update section.

    does this mean that closed beta never started or you guys your self are testing it but will you still be able to get it open this monthlike it says on your website in jan will be open to public so just asking

    Closed beta for acclaim is still yet to start, therefore the january final release date is looking a bit optimistic now. There is no official date for when the beta will start, it's taken a month just to get the proper, confirmed reason for the delay...

    Don't tell me that the UK and the rest of Europe has to play on servers located in the US............not even SoE does this anymore.



    It is bad enough we have to wait for Acclaim, but having a bad ping while we could easily play on Server located in Europe is utterly stupid.

    You need to talk to Acclaim and tell them to host at least 1 server in European soil, or you can forget me even trying the game.

    Acclaim wanted half of Europe so they should deal with all the baggage that comes with it

     No way, the Acclaim servers are located in Europe. And no , there isn't any problem about ping . Anyway if you want go ask in the acclaim forums to check.

    It is bad enough Acclaim Games perpetrates they are the Acclaim Entertainment of old but why do they have to ruin a potentially good MMORPG on top of it?

    Yes and soiled David Perry's good name in the game industry on top of it all... He's the guy that started Shiny entertainment and was a poineer in rotoscope animation for Aladin on Sega Genesis... Acclaim better do right by TCoS and it's fans
