MMORPG searching

Hello,ok this is what I'm looking for in a MMORPG.

I've played pretty much the biggies, Ultima Online ( the grand daddy of them all ) WoW, EQ and EQ2, CoH, LotR, SW Galaxies, and Dark Ages ( don't hate )

I've played different games but have failed to yet find a game with good balanced in what i'm looking for.

I'm looking for a game with lots of character classes, ingame housing, descent pvp, and both grinding and quests, missions etc.   And good character inter action with a descent ingame community.

I'm trying to get my wife into playing, we'll see on that LOL, my son plays UO and WoW mostly.

Any ideas on what game to try? i know there are many great games out there and in development now.

Let the debate being...

    I have a few questions before I answer. Do you want the game to be more PvE or PvP, are item malls a big turn off, graphic style preference, and do professions matter?

    Have you tried Guild Wars? It doesn't have the housing but it seems to fit for everything else. If your interested in a trial swing into the GW forums and ask.

    Since I didn't see it on your list...I dare say...EVE Online? Its worth the 2 weeks trial
