Downloading into zones

in Guild Wars

Is this going ungodly slow for anyone else? ONE time so far I got up to 150KB/s but my usual download speed doesnt go over 10KB/s. Whats up with this? It can take me up to 10 mins to enter a new zone....

    Same thing, and my dl speed is 625KB/s.. still even though it's going slow it only takes a few minutes to enter the zones, and it does do some downloading while you're in them. Longer you're in a zone, the more of the "next part" downloads.

    I played this morning and got around 300 to 500 Kb. Everything reqarding downloading files went rather smoothly. I'm going to play more at midnight so i'll see if anything changes.image

    They are working on smoothing everything out.  ANy areas you've been to at one point should load quite fast - it's the new ones that give trouble.

    You can bet that ANet will sort this out by the weekend.
