I'm just wondering if there are any bosses more powerful then this guy, and if you think he will be the last boss. I was reading the lore and if the game gets shutdown in 2-3 years, for WOW's new MMO do we finally see this dude? He makes Arthas look like a joke, the same way Thanos in Marvel, makes superheroes on earth look weak.

WOW being shut down in 2-3 years.
You just made a funny.
There will be more bosses, and stronger bosses, because Blizz has no problem changing the lore to fit their needs.

Well that sucks if they change the lore. He is supposed to TOP DOG.
Hmmm...Deathwing?
Really hope to see him when Grim Batol gets added.
Deathwing and Saregas are only the top dogs of everything we know so far. How hard do you think it is to come up with a new layer with even badder bosses. As far as I know there are other demonlords like Saregas. He is only one out of many. From whom are they fleeing from? Bingo, we found a bigger boss.
Read the Dune series to see how to add bigger bosses with each new book.
You're thinking of the Eredar and the 3 most powerful Eredar are either dead or defeated.
Sargeras isnt a "demon lord", he is a Titan. Titans are the most powerful beings in the Warcraft universe. The only thing that would be more powerful than Sargeras would be a more powerful Titan.
Deathwing is a Dragon Aspect, and well, one of those is currently killable. Deathwing will likely be a interim boss, a boss introduced in a update because he isnt powerful enough to be the focus of an expansion.
WoW has about 4 more expansions ahead of it which will be introduced over a period of 6 to 8 years. Who knows what the MMO market much less the world at large will be like 8 years from now. By then Blizzard's "next gen" MMO will have a couple expansions.
Was browsing through WoR and came across a post on future instances. this guy made an interesting post.

Sargeras as a last boss ever?? u must be joking.
If you really comprehend how the storyline works u would know that fighting the dark titan would be impossible. This guy ur talking about is travelling to every world that the titans had created in order to destroy them. From my understanding these worlds are the sections represented in Outland. Ner`Zhul (Orc warlord who is possessing Arthas the Lich king) who is under the control of Kil'jaeden (sunwell guy / one of the 3 leaders of eredar / one of the generals of Sargeras) created portals to new worlds to inact the will of Kil'jaeden (but actually the will of Sargeras who is master of Kil'jaeden) which was to invade the remaining worlds that the titans created. THAT would mean that the titans created 7 worlds (not counting netherstorm, its only the refuge of the eredar survivors but including Azeroth).
So if blizzard takes a couple years to create a CONTINENT of 1 single planet, with 6 planets left that might even be destroyed by now in the storyline it would make it IMPOSSIBLE for the game to end in 3 years. Maybe it would open up an expansion to another world the Titans created to pursue Sargeras.
Sorry i was in rambling mode
The game will last as long as its as popular as it is, and probably for a lot longer than that. (since most MMO just don't die off and stop making expansions when they get less popular.)
I don't know if Sargaras will be the last boss, but I'm sure he will be one of the bosses (hopefully.).
I'm glad they added in Arthas. They did a great job with this expac. (As far as story telling goes in the least. )
There is still much to explore In World of Warcraft. I just hope they get to it soon.
Also, I hope they get to updating the older zones too. They're collecting dust
Groovy.
Thats not entirely correct. Titans are more of the terms of Terraformer rather then creater of Worlds. Azeroth was already there when the titans came (hence the Battle against the Old gods of Azeroth, where some Titans died in the progress). Actually Aegwynn a Human Mage (with the Power of Tirisfal) + Dragonflights managed to destroy the Avatar of Sargeras.
If i understood it correctly we won't see Sargeras anyway in the near future. There are still 3-4 confirmed Old gods that should be taken care of first (C'thun is dead) the next on the list is Yogg-Son (Loken is talking about him when you engage him, there are also some quest that reveal that Saronite comes from him) while the biggest one should be C'thulu.
Z000mmmm it's all geek talk here lol... im totally lost and have no idea whats being said Hooorar...
Interesting none the less. I like a good bit of lore never realy got that far in wow tho so WoW lore is a big jumble to me
It's all Lies...
Actually allot of this comes from H.P Lovecraft ^^.
See this one for instance
Call of Cthulhu
and

This is a very interesting post, had never seen it. thx for the info.
You stopped too soon for the end all boss(s) in WoW.
Sure Sargeras would be one bad ass boss and it would pretty much be the end of WoW but not THE end.
For WoW to truely have an end boss it would be the Titans, themselves.
If Maylgos can try to destroy the world cause we're using magic in the game then it's not hard to believe the Titans could come back to Azeroth and decided it's not what they envisioned for the planet. With the Titans trying to "reset" the world, We would be fighting for the existence of the world.
But there is a lot of filler till we get that far.
The game doesnt need lore bosses anymore.
The players that play this game only care about new tiers of armor now.
Keep tossing people armor tiers added with another couple ten level increases and players will be happy.
Also noone mentioned Queen Azshara as a lore boss.

If Yogg-son is linked to Loken and Saronite, then would that make him a candidate boss for Ulduar?

C'thun isn't dead, if it was that easy to kill an old god, the other four wouldn't be raids for us right now. We killed a part of him, all we really did was poke him in the eye and make him blink. Will it be possible to kill an old god right now? Perhaps. But it's safe to say not even the Lich King is nearly as strong as an old god, much less Sargeras. We failed to kill kael'theas the first time through. Kil'jaeden was only knocked back into his portal. As for Malygos? We don't quite know if he really is dead. We may of seriously injured and/or knocked him out, leaving him in his own little dimension.
Also, Malygos wasn't interested in destroying the world. He was determined to destroy the Kirin Tor mainly, as they were a symbol of what he felt was going wrong. He saw the people of Azeroth mistreating arcane magic, and took it upon himself to stop it once and for all. Remember, Arcane magic is very unstable, its what first led the burning legion to Azeroth.
If we attack any old god next, most likely yes it will be Yogg-Saron. We won't kill him though, most likely we'll just make him reconsider his locations in Northrend.
Cursedsei - yeah, you could say its not the raiders that kill the bosses but "Deus Ex Machina".
Kil'jaeden was defeated(not killed) because of the sacrifice of Anveena.
Malygos is actually killed by Alexstrasza
The death of Illidan is credited to Maiev and Akama
And, yes, Yogg-Saron will be the final boss of Ulduar. Whether or not he actually dies(and if so, by our hands) is yet to be seen.
Also, there quite a few NPCs that want a piece of Arthas. Tirion, Sylvanas and Darion to name a few. So, his death will most likely be because of one or a couple of them.
