I have had three ctds today, from about 4-5 hours of playing. I just reformatted my computer so I know its not a problem on my end. I also am beginning to have some fps slowdowns which is odd considering I never had them in closed beta. On my old computer, sometimes when I played war, it would completely crash and I would have to reboot. The problem was faulty hardware. It took a long time to pinpoint. I would suggest to the OP to try testing your equipment, specifially the power supply and cpu. My problem was I had a faulty motherboard. Anyways, goodluck.
I started to play again 40 minutes ago and since then I have had 2 crashes. Both crashes resulted in a forced restart of my PC (where the PC did it automatically without my intervention). This is a major annoyance since a typical restart is about 5 to 10 minutes. I have a new PC, the graphics card is just fine. Just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.
Any softweare can cause crash only for himself but not for OS. Any reboot and BSOD is caused by hardware problem, typically occured when high hardware load - heavy HDD activity (pre loading) + intense graphics scene while cpu is uploading textures into Video. most common reason for PC reboots are PSU problems. Also it can be any other hardware problem - very often its Memory, Motherboard or bad compatibillty between both. Try run 3DMark for long time to see if its also crashing, so can return PC to hardware support with easy problem reproduce.

Reformated HD, reinstalled fresh OS patched it, new drivers. Still getting random pc restarts and client crashes ( client just closes itself ). I've noticed it only happens with Public Quests.
CPU is working fine, hd also, temperature is lowish, no overheating.
Most solution you've suggested i've probably tried out.
Every other game i've played worked fine without problems.
Now it is starting to be frustrating and there is no public forum to complain about it.

There's an in-game reporting tool. That is the best way to get information directly to Mythic.
They had the same thing in DAOC, it works. Send detailed feedback on your system specs and what is happening. And then follow up on the patch notes... if it says something along the lines of "CTD bugs fixed" then test the game out again, if you are still crashing, send another feedback report.

Anything you have described cannot be tied and fix reboot problem. Complaining in any forum also will not help. Software itself can not cause PC reboot. Behind reboots is always harware problem. Have you tried latest 3DMark and SiSoftwandra as I recommended already? The reboots occures over peak high system load. PQ will fry you system for shure, so if there is a problem he will occure very often in them. The most often problem for reboots are either Insufficient power supply or compatibility between MB/RAM MB/Video. Can you use some MB monitor tool to log you vlotages on the MB in case if its your power supply.
Also if its new PC just use your PC support, because often you have to try different memory/video to check if its not but to be shure just try to reproduce it with 3DMark or SiSoftSandra.
And last can you post your PC Model or PC configuration if its assembled. If not everything at least Powersupply vendor and power (W), Motherboard, Video, Memory vendor/size, HDD size?
Also here you can check if your PSU is enought for any load of all of your components:

CPU and HDD are 35Celsius, not even overheating. PSU is max 300 (even under it according to test) and i have 450W case. IF i knew what it was, would replace that part but since it is working with every other game...
I was having a lot of crashing as well. After a lot of searching I found this site and it fixed most of my crashing. I can play for hours but still crash every now and then but at least it's managable now. Hope someone else finds a solution there. Good luck!

What OS are you using?
