I've gone through a proxy server..registered a spellborn account..download client...recieved email...hit verification link...register at Akklaim to the point where I have Spellborn listed as pending. When I try to enter the game it says it is waiting for email verification. Did this happen to everyone and if so, how long til they make me active?

yes this happens to pretty much everyone that is NA ip address... there is a territory ip restriction... some NA went through proxxy server to get it to work... there should be more info in one of the posts on this subject as well
Registering at Acclaim signed you up for the NA beta and nothing more. That had no relavence to the shady process that you are attempting in an effort to subvert the IP ban.
Did you use the proxy for the email verification? It doesn't sound like you did and your email verification was redirected instead of verified. You'll need to copy the email verification link and then use it on the proxy site.
I did the same thing on my first try as well. When it works your account will be activated immediately.

make sure you copy and paste the email link into that proxy site in order to complete the registration.
