Guildwars = Diablo 3?

Anyone else feel like they are playing Diablo 3? I logged on for the first time last night and played some this morning. The game plays well and is a lot of fun. Is very hack and slash oriented with little down time and quick action.
These guys were Blizzard developers? Guildwars feels like an advanced version of Diablo 2.

Yes and yes. This is a good thing, in my opinion.
Diablo 2 outsold almost every MMORPG out to day besides Everquest 1.
At least its a better RPG light than EQ II. More choices, better balanced and clearly a development team that has a clue what they are doing...
I am not a fan, do not think I will buy it even. These RPG Light games for kids are not my style, I like the thousands of choices that can be wrong, but is the whole point of a personal character.. But between EQ II and Guild Wars.. Then Guild Wars is the one better designed. Good work by the team.
Only game I wait for right now: Imperator.

AC1: Wierding from Harvestgain
The limited PvP system is understandable. There are people who play D2 specificlly for leveling. Then there are people who play specifically for the PvP. With only 1 server, I feel this is the best way Arena.Net could make the game. While open PvP would turn out probably turn the game into something like Shadowbane, and the lack of PvP would lose them a niche group of players. It's the best of both worlds.
HOWEVER, there are also those of us who they completely missed. The Hardcore Diablo 2 players. The adrenline rush was so much more intense when your first mistake could cost you your lvl 80 character, and the emotional PvP was unmatched. Give me a Guild Wars option where I can turn my character into Hardcore mode, and I'll show you some Hardcore Guild War players.

Diablo 2 blew EQ1 away as far as sells.. Hell you probably could through in DAOC and SWG and still not get close to D2 sells.
But as far as this being D3 I would say hell yes, now tell me where I can download Jamella, nutcracker, and hex editor and im back home...
Some people last year where trying to tell us that the real (good) developers left Blizzard to come and make Guid Wars.. Well going by what I have seen so far I say they were wrong.. This is a good game and all but its just not a real MMORPG..I mean having setpaths is just so limiting.. And speaking of limiting the PVP doesnt have to be a gank fest, if they didnt want it to be open PVP there are other options besides limiting the player limit....Guild Wars.. good game but not good enough(for me).. Bring on WOW

For anyone who buys this game, be ready to buy the 1,000 expansion packs they come out with.
I have a feeling it's going to be worse than The Sims and EQ combined.

Also you have to put into account that mmorpgs weren't nearly as popular then as they are today.
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
While the game isn't designed around a MMO it is still an MMO in my opinion. It is a persistant Online world where you can play Multiplayer aspects with a Massive number of people.
As far as those who are saying they tried to make us believe that blizzard developers were making this game...they said the devs of battle.net made the game. Battle.net was developed by a team FROM blizzard but not the main game designers of Diablo and Diablo 2. It was also a team of developers from a phone company, believe it was ATT at the time? Can't remember. All they said is that this group of developers made Arena.net which is GW version of Battle.net. Some of the blizzard game designers may be with NCSoft now but that isn't what they are claiming. Most of the team is from NCSoft as the semi-lineage-esc graphics will point to. Thankfully the design team wasn't the same.
