I think EQ has some edition now that offers the original plus 7 or so expansions for around 30 bucks. I think the only expansion not included with that is OOW. It would be one monster download though.
Lots of games are downloadable as free trials but they are usually monster downloads and you may still have to pay for the software after your truncated free trial (box games usually offer a 30-day trial; downloads 7-14 days).
I agree with a previous poster who suggests ordering them from an online store. Amazon.com is a good place to buy and you won't even have to pay tax or shipping (in most cases).
Also, free trials usually only include the "classic" portion of a game whereas many games have issued special box editions that include all but the most recent, usually as yet unreleased, expansion. For instance, DAOC's Platinum Edition ($30) includes everything except the upcoming Catacombs expansion, even the free expansions (Foundations and New Frontiers) that current players had to download. EQ's Evolutions (also $30) includes the first 5 or 6 expansions, leaving you with only 2 to buy to have them all.
