Your opinion of MMO company CEOs

Which executive or manager of an MMO company has done more harm to the genre than anyone else, in your opinion,  and why do you think that?

On the other hand, who has done the best job do you think, and why?

If you don't know the names of the actual CEOs, feel free to just provide the company name, along with your reasoning.  Thanks for any responses :).

    John Smedley is by far the worst CEO in the entire MMORPG genre. From the complete overhaul of games, the desposal of playerbases in the attempt to grab another one, Trading card scams, and RMT rubbish on top of Pay to Play games, John Smedley has managed to do almost everything wrong, and very little right.

    Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic
    Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW
    Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike
    Loved: Star Wars Galaxies
    Waiting for: Earthrise, Guild Wars 2, anything sandbox.

    I owuld have to agree with this completely.  He consistently and constantly says one thing and does the exact opposite.  Look at the RMT shops for a perfect example.

    On the bright side, I would have to say the folks at Mythic are doing a bang-up job as are the folks over at turbine and ccp.  Will see how BioWare does :)

    Who else could it be other than Darth Smedious aka John Smedley. The reason he has had such a toxic effect on the genre is that he doesn't run SOE as an entertainment company...so his focus isn't on providing quality entertainment for his customers. His sole focus is extracting as much money from them as possible before they come to their senses and quit. The NGE and now the whole Everquest RMT debacle illustrates how little he cares about his current customers...he's always looking to replace them.

    John $medley is a disgrace to gaming worldwide.
