yeahh they must be changing the web because the web that appears is a domain provider... Seems a default web when the resource is not available. So they are changing the web :)

Its not just you. Someone forgot to pay the bill, becouse you do not take down a website, just to update it.

I just hope when they allow the download, there's no IP ban like what happened with TCoS.  Let's hope Aventurine gets it right the first time.

A new website is under development and we hope it will be finished in time for the launch.

The point is you don't take down the old website until the new website is available.

Well technically I think the point should be:

You make sure you have your NEW web-site up and running months before your Release Date... then you won't have to HOPE it's done in time for Launch.

P.S.  I'm going to hide this text down here in Black and see if it comes up or not.  Kinda like a hidden edit.

Oh... and for those that don't know.  It's not the DEVELOPERS of the game that will be making the new web-site.  The Developers make POSTS on the web-site... they don't actually do the work in creating it.  That's what outside vendors are for, or heck, even some volunteers from off of the official boards if they don't have the money to spend.

It's beyond me that some people honestly believe that the Devs. themselves would have to take time away from the game to work on the web-site... umm NO!

Yeah was just gonna say I read on their boards a fwe days ago that they are making a new site.

Run a whois on darkfallonline.com and see what comes up. Hint, the registration for the domain name expired on Jan 3, 2009 and has just been renewed till 2011, so you may be more correct then you think there Blood

Of course you have to wonder how they let that happen seeing that they are a business. If you can't remember to do simple things like pay the bills which most Registrars hound you to death about up to 3 months in advance just how do you plan to keep a company running with thousands of customers?
