Gold Ad Spam

I have noticed that lately, especially on the weekends, the gold spam is horrible.  My mailbox will fill up from just ONE guy doing it.  Block will keep them from PMing you but, from what I am told, they can still send it through mail.

Anyone have a way to combat this?  Not sure if I am just missing something but I thought I would toss the topic up there to see if anyone has a solution.

Thanks!

i'm a victim too haha.. my mail box was full on spam.. though they can whisper me but they can send through mail... i've even seen bot sellers on Rome, they are actually close to each other and advertising the same site.. i think you can send a report to NDOORS about those spammers...

If NDOORS will do anything about it I have a chat from their customer service stating they use bots to do all the spamming.

In case you haven't figured this yet:

RMT/in-game gold sellers belong to the game company unless it's a P2P game.

Other examples are SRO or Rappelz.

Or why do you think they never reply to that stuff on their forums, just lock/delete such posts or send generic mails as a reply, let alone solve such matters.

    Wake up guys

really? they will try to destroy their own market? i dont think so, because i see in-game patrolling gm's blocking gold sellers in beijing.. i was there once and saw a goldseller with an ad on top of its head, then some low level character cam near the gold seller and suddenly it was gone.. hahaha

On their forums rules it tells you not to post about goldspammer but to take a print screen and fill out a ticket with the print screen

the ticket info doesnt cover the part about needing a print screen

bottomline is if it is required and not included a lazy customer service rep can just send a cut and pste response and ingore it

get a print screen and refference the forums rule on it

i think there are only few of them now, haha but some are still spamming my mailbox, whew

I don't think that the number of gold spammers, even botters were lessen up to this date. i think whatever effort that atlantica/ndoors exert on banning them is kinda useless because they can keep on coming back. making an account in atlantica is not hard...it is actually super easy. so most probably, after banning these spammers, they'll just come back with a new and aunidentified account to spam and spam all over again.
