Wondering if collectors edition worth getting. Usually the in game rewards are only good for a lvl or two on other games. I'm thinking about trying it.
Anyone got a buddy key I would appreciate. 10 days would more than make up my mind if I like it enough to buy.

I did digital upgrade for $30. The collectors box is $80 in stores. I don't think the extras are worth anywhere near $50 more.
Collector's edition are only geared toward those who like to collect. To some the ring may be neat, or the soundtrack or cloth map. For the average gamer it likely is not worth the extra money.
Thanks for the info guys!
The digital copy is suitable enough. The Collector's edition leans more towards the type of player that must have it all. Really the in-game items do not do much. There are two house pets, 1 pocket item that basically you will outgrow in your 20s, and 1 radiance item that could see playtime but is not essential. The rest of the package is decent but not spectacular. Most hardcore LOTR fans already have a ring, the cloth map will not help you find places any more than the in game map will, and the soundtrack is really a toss up depending on the type of person you are.
