This looks very, vry interesting, and it seems like an action rpg/mmo. I'm curious to know what those fight scenes are that look like a fighting game. The graphics are beautiful, but it looks like it might be the U3 engine, which isn't very good news.
Edit: It does use the U3 engine, which makes me a little sad.
It does like kind of interesting, although 75% of that trailer was shot with BoobCam (tm). The other 25% was WhitePantyCam (tm). There were some jaw-dropping scenes, especially the running-along-walls-jumpy sections and the satisfying crunchy combat, but it's no indication of being any fun to play.
Might be one Asian-style MMORPG that I might actually consider trying.
Still waiting for your Holy Grail MMORPG? Interesting...
Honestly the first time i saw it, it reminded me of fury which turned my head away cause fury was doodoo. However yes boob and panty cam the game looks totaly wicked. and i think as well has a very strong indication of fun.
UE3 is merely a tool. How you use it is more up to the developer. Companies have been achieving very beautiful graphics with it. Such as Huxley and Blade & Soul. I believe Blade&Soul uses a pseudo fighter setup. It would obviously be too network intensive to go full fighter controls. It probably handles it event based.
i wanna see how the combat would be handled...i mean by the way it showed the fighting scenes in that trailer it looked more like a fighting game along the lines of tekken and what-not. The moves they use are very crazy and if you can actually do those moves in game then i would be very happy
Although i reckon to create a MMO where doing those moves to an opponent in that sort of way they do in the trailer..would be near impossible...or really really tricky lolz so that kinda makes me sad
But oh well its still looking at being a very interesting game and one to look out for on release
Graphics on the monsters were nice. I don't care for the artwork overall though, nor the environment which looks kind of linear except for the indoor areas which seem interesting. Not a big fan of asian mmos...
Looks really nice. I like the Asian style Art design. According to the interview the game lore is based on Asian legends from different countries like Korea, China, Japan, Cambodia. Then no medieval fantasy no Sci-Fiction. Martial arts. Could be interesting.
They said that is more toward individuals and solo content, although grouping will be advisable or necessary for some content. This is a down for me.
Anyway long before launch, I'll keep one eye on it of course.
Saw the video last year when it was released, looked very nice and intresting, and I had the same thoughts of fury, but it does not look like it will be a fury 2.
Hope it will be a direct combat game with combos (button mashing!)
