OK actually i have 2 questions.
1: A re you going to get this game at release or wait until you see the reviews on it and player feed back.
2: A re you going to be playing it on PC or Xbox.
As for me i will probaly get it at it's release but as for the 2ed question i have no idea.I will need a new pc to pay this game and it would be cheaper just to get a x box.In fact i could get both an x box and a playstation cheaper then what i would pay for a good gaming notebook.

1. Wait for reviews.
2. I'm going to be getting this on the Xbox 360 if I get it at all.
I've been burned far to many times in recent years and never again will I allow that to happen to me. Also I want to make sure I don't encounter any problems with the game, at least not as many, so I'll be getting the Xbox 360 version. I always want to move most of my gaming away from the PC so any chance I get to get a console version of a game I'm interested I'll take it. I don't doubt my PC could handle the game but like I said rather just not have to deal with having to possibly upgrade it further if I don't have to.
I'll be waiting for some feedback from beta testers. I'm only going to avoid the game if it sounds like it will be another AOC-style MMO disaster. Truth be told, I'm not that difficult to please when it comes to MMOs. I don't need some huge sandbox environment or completely new revolutionary features to enjoy a game. I just want a game where I can have a character I enjoy playing as (Something that fits my preferences in both visual appearance and play-style) and a good-sized community. FFXI was the last game to do that for me, I've been pretty tempted to return, but at the same time I feel like I want to move on and try something else, so I'd rather just save my money for CO.

Haven't played a console mmo before and this is looking good.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.
If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms
AMD 4800 2.4ghz-3GB RAM 533mhz-EVGA 9500GT 512mb-320gb HD
I'm going to buy at release.
But I'm not sure why I should have to chose between PC and 360... shouldn't I, as a paid Subscriber, be permitted to play on my account regardless of which system I use? I would think that they'd let me log in from both as long as my account was valid.

"When people tell me designing a game is easy, I try to get them to design a board game. Most people don't last 5 minutes, the rest rarely last more then a day. The final few realize it's neither fun nor easy."
I will buy it on release & play on the PC as I do not own an Xbox.
I am a bit concerned about controllers though, as I would rather use the keyboard. Whenever I have tried those PC Controller peripherals in the past they never seemed to work properly.
If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?
Take the Hecatomb? TCG What Is Your Doom? quiz.
im getting it time of release (preorder if possible)
on my laptop, so i can bring anywhere i want (that provides an internet connection ofcourse...)
Then they won't make double profit off you, and that would be bad.
Look at FFXI. You have to have seperate accounts and payments for each hardware version.

Think they'll seperate the servers to "PC Servers" and "360 Servers"?
That'd be interesting...

I don't think they'll have a big enough base on the console, frankly. They'll probably combine the consoles and PC base together.
I'll be getting in on 360 as i know i will be able to run it without any problems. I think they confirmed PC and 360 users will be combined (i read it in OXM and PC gamer) as one gigantic server so organised 360 vs PC events would be quite a laugh.
They haven't confirmed anything on servers yet, they've only said they would really like to have combined servers, but were finding it really difficult to pull off. SOE has pretty much said the samething with their Agency and DCUO games, they are finding it more difficult then they thought (which says a lot being SOE, they've never had a problem throwing a system that didn't work out for sale).
I am getting it at launch for the 360. I have a lot of people on my friends list that are interested in the game and I just used to playing on my consoles more now.
1. give it a week or two
2. PC, because i dont own an Xbox. However i will buy any new MMO's i take up on PS3 if possible (grinding on a console is about a million times better than on PC, also i have played a few games using a Playstation style controller and switching to keyboard/mouse when needed and it worked out well)
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
I will prolly get it but that DC Universe got my eyes on it too.
I will get it for 360 same with DC online on PS3.
Is the launch going to be the same for both 360 and PC?
AoC was supposed to be for both but PC came out first, if that's the case for Champions then I'll wait and see the PC reviews. If it is good then I will get for the 360
Which FF Character Are You?
I'd be into getting it for the 360 if there was actually a bloody mouse/keyboard combo available, so i'll probably stick with PC for this one.
Played: WoW, Lotro, AoC, Eve, CoX.
Shortly be playing: WAR and champions if the release date holds.
mouse and keyboard suck for this one.
Oh yeh? Why so?

I think it's cuz theyre setting up the system to be like a console action game. So less buttons = more fluidity for the console version. I am pretty sure, though, that you can use a mouse/keyboard in the console version, that is what I'm guessing those two usb slots can be used for. But I could be wrong
Which FF Character Are You?
No mouse support for the 360. But you can use the chatpad or a keyboard for typing.
The game is very action rpg orientated. You can use a keyboard but the game is faster paced for moving and attacking that is easier to acomplish with the 360 pad connected to your pc. The guys that make this game play with a 360 pad.
Ah right, may be something to think about in that case.

I am definitely getting it on the PC, just because I think it is easier to do just about everything on it, also don't have to pay for that Xbox Live.
I like pie.
You can use keyboard and mouse on the 360 for games, but only through an expensive 3rd party piece of hardware.
So, yes, PC is still better for keyboard and rodent, but it's not impossible on consoles.

Don't understimate the console online userbase. There are a load of people playing FFXI on 360, and the Phantasy Star Universe Xbox360 version are quite populated. In fact, the 360 version of PSU has about three times the amount of players the PC version has
Cryptic have said there is no technical reason why Xbox 360 and PC players can't play on the same servers, but Microsoft Xbox QA processes might stop this from happening (MS QA adds another level of complexity to getting patches through). It was SOE that was finding merging PS3 and PC on the same server difficult.
Provided there is VOIP in game, communicating shouldn't be too difficult. Also, I think there will be a surprising number of Xbox 360 owners playing ChampO, given that you don't need gold membership to play online.
