D.O Online: New Game Added

We have just added another new MMORPG to our ever-expanding list.  This title is another Korean import being hosted in the Americas by GameNGame.com.  It is an martial arts action/fighting/role-playing game featuring rich 3D graphics and an innovative gaming style.  The game is still in open beta phase and free to play!

    Well the trailer pretty much speaks for itself. Even though the artwork is very well done you can tell right away that this game will have serious poor frame rate and choppy animation. When you watch the trailer you can see chucks of the background popping into view as the screen scrolls for and left to right. From the looks of it, it completely in Korean except for the numbers. I'll pass on this one.

    i was intrested in trying out the game, and they allow you to download it but its all in korean and i dont know how to get an account to log in. If anyone could help it would be greatly appeciated.

    yeh i tried to play it too.. apparantly from what i saw which wasnt a great ammount... is that the korean version is in open beta and the internation/english is in development.. or it just started the translation process.. dont expect to play it for a while probally...

    oh well, it would only have been somthing to tie me over until EQ2 comes out, which is like in a week.

    To be on our list they only have to have proven intentions to release a US version.  We have games on our list that are still far from beta afterall (ie Dungeons & Dragons Online, Vanguard, etc).  image

    Why the heck would mmorpg.com waste time on another Korean mmorpg that is half-baked when there are other comprehensive visionary mmorpgs in development that you ignore like:

    Irth

    and

    Trials of Ascension

    wierd... could of swore that post went through..

    yeh we were replying to the part which says its in open beta and free to play or whatever that comment was... but i dont know if it is though... you can now register accs.. and the client is translated but no servers are up yet.. ohh well...

    and alot of these mmorpgs are korean... and they arnt half bad though they do have some problems ... but what makes those games soo much better than korean games? from what ive seen the korean games are getting much more talk...

    Yes, but those are game from legitemate companies like Microsoft and Turbine entertainment that as based right here in the U.S. So we know those games will most likely become retail. This game and the Shot Online golf game could be in Beta for 2-3 more years for all we know.  Still, it's always nice to know when a new MMO game is in development. Keeps our hopes up.

    yes, why did they release the client when they didn't even have servers ready? or even the License Agreement?

    Downloaded and tried it.  Very 2nd rate on this game, mob ai is pretty non-existant and the english version is still very difficult to understand with run together words and such.  May take a look again later, but definitely not worth trying to play for long.  image
