Hey guys. I've reactivated my FFXI account recently and am having a blast. I've only got the first 2 expansions installed though. I've looked on Amazon and they have the 2008 collection cheaper that what it would cost to buy the other 2 expansions seperately.
In this collection however, there is only 1 activation code. if i enter this code on an account that already has Rise of the Zilart an Chains of Promathia on it, will it activate the other 2 expansions? Or do i have to buy them seperately to get seperate codes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^^

That doesn't sound right. When you go to register an expansion through POL it asks you which expansion you want to register. There's no "all-in-one" option, nor is there an "all-in-one" code. You should have one code for POL, FFXI, Zilart, CoP, ToAU, and WotG. Or, if it's just an expansion bundle you should have a separate code for Zilart, CoP, ToAU, and WotG. Either way, there should be separate codes for each expansion.
Where are you buying this 2008 Edition from?

Yeah, that's definitely wrong, OP. You get separate activation keys for each expansion in the back of your manual. POL just doesn't allow a one-in-all, as you have to register each separately in order to use them.
yep, I also recently bought the game with 2 xpacks and had like 5 or 6 different CD Keys in it.
Actually, my copy of the 2008 collection has one registration code like OP.
I think you can input the same code to unlock the other expansions that you still need.
I did this. When you register your account you input the 1 code and select 1 of the expansions. Then on the next page it says "There are more services included with your key" And you select "All at once" or something to that nature on the bottom and it then activates and installs all the expansions you don't have with that 1 key. No error just wierd. Mine worked fine and i got both expansions i didn't have,
This is a new thing they started doing. I think they did it to make it a lot easier to register. 1 Code instead of having 5.
EVE - Sharvala
FFXI - Shazamalicious
Guild Wars - Xavier Lucifer & Charlize the Necro
"Ranged...stuck...tree...15 random words... suck... noob fanboy... I MAKE GUIDE!"
Yep it is just 1 code, when you put it in it registers all the expansions for you.
Thanks guys. Got it sorted. Cheers for info ^^
Umm one of my accounts i bought the all in one and i am certain it still had several codes.Look hard they may be listed somewhere else on your disc or manuals.Personally i would not activate it until i called PLayonline, good luck that is LONG distance and VERY expensive.I believe you can contact their ONLINE support, that would be best bet.Unlike in game,i think i only usually wait around 10-15 for the online person to help.
If it happens to be ONLY one activation,i highly doubt it,then you would most likely have no access to your old account.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
you can also buy registration code for all other than WotG
