Hi,
I am wondering if this game would run well using a new alum macbook with the following specs:
2.0GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR3 Memory
160GB hard drive1
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
At the moment I run WoW Wotlk flawlessly and get over 60fps. I tried to play WAR on this computer before and the performance wasn't stellar; yet it was my first time bootcamp partition and I am wondering if 1) I delegated enough hard drive space for Windows XP (think I used 32, not sure anymore) or 2) If performance is just always poor on this computer.
I'd be very happy if anyone could give me feedbacks about performance as well as tips for running this on bootamp (drivers update or whatever else). I figured not much would be needed to be done given that the graphic card had just been released, and that I had the most recent Mac OS (I would assume with the latest bootcamp drivers).
Any infos will be very much appreciated!

I have the MacBook Pro from 2 years ago (previous version) and ran WAR flawlessly as well.
Mind you that I upgraded the memory of my MacBook Pro to 3GB
Mine is also Intel Core2Duo 2,2GHz and have the Intel Mobility Radion X1600 with 256MB dedicated VRAM.
Yours with the GeForce 9400M is really good as well and has also dedicated VRAM.
So it shouldn't be much of a problem to run it.
You can upgrade your RAM to 4GB tho on your new type MacBook Pro. Don't buy the RAM module from Apple, but the cheap ones in the regular store. Saves you a lot of money and they work just fine.
You just have to run 64bit Vista on it, to be able to use the full 4GB RAM. The new MacBook Pro's finally support it.
Cheers
If I use XP, the maximum RAM that will matter is 2G right? Also, I'm not using the MBP, but the regular alum macbook.
