Do they not care, are they short resourced, or do they have a trick up their sleeve?

they don't seem very excited

whats wrong?

Personally I think its more apathy than anything else.  I think its a simple matter of them not carying about the game as much as others may want them to.

I think they do care, but they don't act like its life or death (the way we do) if the game fails.

Just when you think you have all the answers, I change the questions.

If you listen to Tasos carefully during his interviews you would know he cares about his game more then the "darkfall community"

I guess its a deeper care than I can read cuz all I see is casual care

Why should they seem excited to the outside world? What they think or feel and what we think or feel is irrelevant. I'm only interested in playing their game and they are only interested in making it. Besides how can you tell what they as individual people are feeling from text on a screen?

I think they care more then alot of ppl know and I do think they are really working hard on it but with only 30 ppl and a release date fast coming they dont have the time to set down and give there all on these interviews.

Now as far as them makeing the release date I dont think it is going to happen, I think there was more work then they knew when they set that date. and I really hope it turns out as good as it sounds but we will just have to wait and see.

Assassin's like to do it in the dark and from behind.

I really don't understand this attitude.  Doing right by the customer to me is releasing a good game and running stable servers, not inundating them with information. I couldn't care less if they just release and never say anything again,  dev updates, open beta, community updates when the games is lauched, it's all bullshit to me why would anyone want hear this stuff?  Same with expansions just announce it  and then release it when it's ready, if it's in a decent state then they have done a good job.

Research the MMO, Dark and Light.  It should answer a lot of your questions and concerns.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

The same way you can tell how someone is feeling from sounds in your ear.  Context.

If somebody is having a grand opening for something that they've put tons of effort into investing, then naturally they're going to be excited seeing their investment come to fruitation

that is unless somethings wrong ergo my original post

That's true, he cares so deeply for the game that he does not have much time to spare to care for irrelevant things like its potential customers.

"do they have a trick up their sleeve? "

If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"
