The folks at RF Online have announced the schedule for the commercial release of the game, along with a series of events to kick off the launch.

Warm greetings from the SF Action MMORPG RF Online operation team.

Most of all, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone

for your support for 1st and 2nd CBT.

Today, the schedule for Commercial Release Service has been confirmed,

therefore, we would like to inform you the schedule.

Please be informed following;

Schedule of Commercial Release Service

1. Starting date: January 18, 2009, 21:00 (GMT)

January 18, 2009, 16:00 (EST)

January 19, 2009, 06:00 (Korea)

2. Server Rate: EXP, PT, Drop rate x 3

3. Number of Servers: 2 servers will be open tentatively.

4. Client to use: same client used in CBT.

5. Others: a. Restored characters by Character Restoration Event

could be used in a designated server.

b. Limit for 1 IP: maximum of 4 accounts per 1 IP

6. Events for Commercial Release Service.

    Is there a difference between this one and the codemasters one?

    well it should be run alot better , and because its from the guys who made it , its fully upto date , no waiting around for updates here and there and being like 2 years behind like we was in the codemasters version.

    What xersent said not to mention GM support, something that was lacking immensely for the last year of CM's service. We actually have events on this server, OMG!

     

    Check it out, we're having a fresh start on one of the servers so feel free to come on down.

    The main thing that has me hesistant to come back to this game is the x3 XP. Sounds insane, right? But in this game you're supposed to be more concerned with PTs rather than levels. How are you going to keep your PTs current when you're leveling every few minutes. I would just hate to come back to this game and be perma-gimped right out of the gate.

    It's not just EXP x3, it's PT's and drop rates as well.

    So, did they fix the three dupes and 90 odd CheatEngine hacks during the last few weeks of beta or is this doomed to be another hackfest?

    Yeah thats the great thing they fixed them all , every last one of them :)
