Top Things you hear about EVERY MMO

I have been here long enough to see this pattern, and I'd like to call BS on these statements:
1. "The game will fail in it's first week, don't bother playing it." << What kind of BS is this? NOT ONE MMO goes to launch with an operating budget that will only sustain it ONE WEEK. just stop.
2. "Any second now the servers are going to shut down." << Been hearing this (and saying it) about SWG since 2 weeks after the NGE...I mean really is it going to die or isn't it? Someone milks these cows ALOT longer than we think they do apparently.
3. " XYZ game will destroy this game when it comes out." << WTF, name one? I agree that EVERY MMO launched takes SOME players from other games, but wiping it off the map? Only WoW has the biggest pie to try and protect, the other mmo's are just moving crumbs around the table.
4. "XYZ game will finally be THE game." << THIS PISSES ME OFF. because I'm easily tricked into the hype... You guys just stop this ok? Ever since SWG's NGE i've wanted a NEW game to finally be "THE" game....never has happened since. DAMN YOU SMED!
5. "This game sux, it's not even launched yet and it blows..." OK, It's called BETA for a reason...why not say something like "they've got x and y to fix still, but even if that was fixed I might not care to play it...." or how about "This game has poor combat system, or The classes are not balanced...etc.." Just denouncing a game before launch for no reason...lame.
6. "The next patch is going to ...." ok we ALL know this is utter BS. Every MMO promises the sun and we get dirt instead. Let the devs do their work and be honest to us about the next patch.

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

i always see praise and trolls about mmos lol
Something along the lines of "revolutionary in every way", "Nothing can compare"pre release.
Followed by "Just needs a little polishing/tweeking" "Give it time" post release.
Along with plenty of "This game is pure fail and will be dead in a short span of time" and you have yourself a succesful MMO. It's the ones no one complains about you should worry about.
I always hear how so and so mmorpg is in beta so don't judge it and yet the game is set to be released in a couple months lol. Mmorpgs don't change in that amount of time and major issues are design decisions that were made years ago and probably wont ever change.
Thats why it is fine to judge an mmorpg when playing the beta.
