Couldn't tell you the best server since there are 32 of them. The one I'm on, Kujata, is pretty good though. Decent population and all that stuff. If you happen to choose it, let me know and I'll help you out.

To be the best, you must help each other become the best.

    FFXI Server: Valefor

Based on the idea of a predator cat (like a lion) that the females leave the den and hunt while the males protect the den.

I have characters on two servers, because my buddy couldn't afford the game and gave me one of his accounts.  Phoenix and Caitsith.  Pro's of Phoenix, has more English speaking players than Caitsith (i.e. more people /shing for events in English, not as much exclusion) Con's: a lot of the people I've encountered aren't very knowledgable about the game (i.e. lvl 75 newbs)  AH prices slightly inflated.

Pro's of Caitsith: A very diverse mix of people, so no real lulls in how many players are on.  The AH prices are pretty reasonable, with nothing really over inflated.  Con's: Because it is as diverse as it is, there isn't as many "English Friendly" shouts as there are on Phoenix.  Japanese player's also pretty much control all of the Ground HNMs.  Not saying English speaking players don't ever get claims, but there are 3 ridiculously good Japanese LS's that are always at every spawn, regardless of what time it is in Japan.  They also have been caught botting, which makes it even more frustrating.

The population of both Server's is pretty even at peak hours, but Caitsith has a much better all-hours retention than does Phoenix.  Ultimately, I'm transferring the Phoenix char to Caitsith.

It's your decision to make, but if you end up on Caitsith, give Vail a /t, and I'll help you out as I can.

Find an LS that is active either here or on Alla-----zam, and roll on their server.

    every server is the same.

There are pro and there are cons.

I personnally like Asura, there are many nice people and also some pricks.

On this forum you might see 3 people hate asura as well.

    none

It's maybe not the best, but one of the most populated is Bahamut (imagine that lol)  The auction prices are higher than most other servers, but you rarely wait longer than 10 min for a party.
