This morning I saw something that truly saddened me. I logged on to Ten Ton Hammer, saw a new video for Champions Online, and thought cool. I was a big COH fan and liked what I saw of Champions Online at last year's PAX.
Then to my surprise and disgust, I see Bill Roper narrating. Seriously, in this economy when so many hard working and talented tech people are out of work, how does an epic failure like Bill Roper get a job on a major MMOG project? Surely Hellgate London will be considered one of the biggest flops in video game history, right up there with Daikatana and the Atari E.T. game (the one which they bought back thousands of cartridges and buried them in the desert).
