Ive tried ten ton hammer and some other MMO sites but this one is just as good as any of those..... Ive also found many new games here and have learned alot really......I can understand how certain things may bother some people but if MMORPG.com is an american site then they are going to be mainly concerned with games that are in the US...... They cant cover every single game that is played by 5 people in a hut in Indonesia or something......The site does a good job for all the people and games it has to handle.....Good luck finding whatever it is youre looking for......

Did anyone post "don't let the door hit you" yet? In any case who really cares about the reviews anyway? Everyone knows reviews are always tainted by sponsorship on these types of sites. I just post on the forum and occasionally read the news. My only gripe is that they modify your posts if they don't like them as opposed to just deleting them. I mean you end up with your name on something you didn't even say. But whatever, it hasn't gotten too out of hand yet so I guess I can let it slide for now.

honestly there will never be a game or forum which everyone agrees on anything. So if you dont have thick skin or cant take criticism, then any public forum is not for you...maybe a private blog where you are the only person posting is the best option for you.

To the OP...MMORPG.com is a great website for all things MMORPG related. Compared to the other websites like Warcry, Massively...and such...MMORPG.com is the best of the bunch. IMHO I love MMORPG.com!

They do it for fun, they'll just create a new account and starts over. If you let the community drag them down and humiliate them they don't think it's funny anymore and stops.

OP sounds like if there had to be a good reason for people to be here, I'm bored waiting for a game to come and I whore these forums, once that game is released, I'll only come here because I enjoy stomping trolls and informing the community just as much as I enjoy gaming. If you found a better place to do what you were doing here, grats, if you didn't, then good luck trying to fill that space.

Perhaps people need to get out more? See some sunlight, fresh air etc.
Well i got windows, so i open the blinds, and bam seeing sulight, flowers, other people besides my gf and our boy. If i want fresh air i open the window, you know that thing with glass to so you can look through. then i breath in the 'fresh' air of a city, yay.
and before some of you go wtf you never leave your house? i do leave it quite often, paying bills, buying food. and i walk everywhere, so i get exercise as well.
I've often said MMORPG.com's community sucks, truth be told this site is large and just like WoW you have to deal with all types of people, trolls, fans, normal people, realy smart people and then sometimes the smart and normal people turn into fanboys and trolls themselves just by sheer passion or just getting into the swing of things.. :P
It does seem like a big bonfire of raging flames sometimes, ok, most times but it is still the most popular and widely known MMO hub. Personally when it comes to news I go to Virgin Worlds.com and Massively.com. For hot topics, debates and forum entertainment I keep coming back here. If you can learn to filter through most posts you can find a lot of really good viewpoints.
Have fun trying to find another MMO community where you can find everything in one place and take part yourself. I don't believe there is one unless you count MMOsite, and don't get me started on that one... lol.
This is a great site to get information on games in development as well as ask a question here and there. Also it's interesting to listen to the blogging and editorializing by the fans because I think many of them do have some very, very good ideas.
I've bought mmo magazines as well as gamer magazines for pc and console and from what I have seen the writing here is on par with that, and definitely more timely. If something major happens today, I can read about it TODAY or tomorrow here at mmorpg.com. Otherwise I would have to wait a month to see IF it published in a magazine.
As far as other mmo forum sites, I haven't really seen any as good. I have played a variety of mmo's over the years and I like to check out the main page to see what the top stories/issues of the day are and see what people are excited or pissed about today. Then I can visit the main forum and access all my favorite games to see what's up.
Anyway, sorry to see you go. If you find a site that is comparable or better than mmorpg.com, please leave a link. I'd love to check it out.

lol, no (A) is pretty accurate. And your post doesn't fail, the staying on topic part is not a must. You don't even have to be all that logical just as long as you write when you have something to actually say and mean it. And not just write sentences to pump up your post count or ego, or both. ;P And punctuation and such is a good idea too.
You don't have to be Einstein, but I like to see people who take care of their writing both in content and presentation.
