This game looks great, can someone help me with info?
This game looks like everything I want in a MMO.
I'm really struggling to fnd out information though.. I've searched on youtube and loads of gaming websites but can't really find anything.
Can someone post some links to some in game footage, maybe some reviews or previews and also a link to the official website because I've tried the one linked from mmorpg but it's a really old site with not very much information about the game.

There is no objective information regarding DF, we're 3 days from the alleged open beta and the client isn't available or any system specs or info on how to get in. In fact the open beta is actually a closed beta from what I can tell and Aventurine refuses to allow any objective journalists to review the game, they've already refused MMORPG.com!

If you discount every game listed on the left hand side of the screen that would be a possibility!

Given Tasos' recent track record. Hell, his record period- the only ones getting into this 'open beta which happens to still have an NDA' will be those that have already pre-ordered (especially since the timing would need to be that, to even hit just ONE of their dates). Pre-order = paid closed beta.

There is information out there if you search for leaks, and browse stickies and faqs at Darkfallonline.com and here.
If you have specific questions ask them and hopefully there will be a non drama queen here to answer it. Don't pay any attention to random arguments that come into this thread and just ask whatever is on your mind.

...Except that I have seen the few p**s poor vids released in the last few years (everyother game in the last 5 years has had more videos released). More info than anyother game? They haven't even released the minnimum specs for Darkfall yet, 1 month from the pushed back (again!) release.
I do try watching and reading, maybe you should try taking the medication the doctor gave you for your hallucinations. Either that or get back to work, I think Tasos and the other 20 semi-pro code crunchers are missing you!

Really? Is this necessary in a thread requesting information about the game? Keep your dramatic e-peen fights to the dramatic posts and stop derailing valid ones.

I think if I count the spoofs of DF on youtube, I can find 1hr of footage. I have not been able to find more than 20 or so screens, and 280 pages of dev journals? You mean the ones where Tasos says they are doing one thing, then on the update they have completely changed their minds? If you take those situations out... you might get like 10 pages...

You can find beta leaks on your own using Google rather easily.
It is clear after watching these, and especially the first one, that there is a game, and it will most likely come out close to their February 25th date especially once they begin taking pre orders. There is more, but this should be enough for now. Enjoy!.
They never said it was a paid trial. They also never said it was to be invite only with NDA. They said it would be a limited trial, basically a first come first serve thing, until release the 25th of Feb. The Pre-orders don't even go on sale until AFTER the trial. People need to learn how to read and not be a bunch of lieing morons.
