this si really ridclous id advise anyone not to buy the fp today wait till tommrow mayb itll be better.
iv been wating nearly 2 hours for them to recongnize iv paid even though i got confirmation email almost 2 hours ago.
any1 get in yet and start downloading who had this problem

I was going to post something in their forums about how horrible fileplanet is and would they please use a different file serving company in the future, but I guess I'll have to wait.

Hmm.. if you signed up just for the WoW beta chance.. and you can't get your key until tomorrow or the next day.. you should get your money back if you don't get to play a full 7 days before OB.
On FilePlanet it says:

It says you get to play "one FULL WEEK EARLY." If OB comes 5 days after you finally get your, than that's not one full week.
I'm not subscribing to FP, but I'd just love to see them get screwed because I hate them.

I feel kind of silly for doing it. But I had some extra $$ this week and figured, what the hell.

Compared to how long you waited for the oppurtunity to even get here, I am sure you can sacrifice a few more hours. Just chill out, relax, maybe watch a movie or something. Come and check back later. It will be alright if your not here the very nanosecond the message arrives in your in box.
It will still be there, waiting for you to do your thing.
For my g/f and 3 of my friends, their subscription took effect approximately 2.5 hours after signup. Your mileage may vary.
It's been 2 hours and my acount has been verified now. I'm on the waiting for a key phase.
Kind of moot now as I need to hit the hay in an hour or so, but perhaps I can get the download started before work tomorow morning.

while yes im angry and impatient that i paid money and i havent recieved my key 4 hours after i got the confirmation e-mail, i should also be hitting myself in the head.it was dumb to subscribe and try to get through on the day of this current stress test release.fileplanets servers, like most others, are not meant to handle the thousands of people that are no doubt hitting the site.
A friend just told me about it so I figured I would give it a try. However there is no disclaimer that you may have to wait a long time before you can actually download it. I was hoping to play tonight. Tomorrow I am too busy. But I do agree if we cant get all 7 days we should get a refund.

man I got like 3 subscribtion reciept at my email saying It was successfully paid.
one is the month sub that only cost $7.90 and the other 2 is $15.95.
I was going through the same problem but my problem was 10~15 mins later the page goes down.
I mean the site goes dead. so I had to start over and over. later I realize I've been paying alot.
It's about 9:30PM in the west coast... and so far this is wat I got from the file planet
