    I think there is a problem with your site.  When I tried to register using Mozilla Firefox it wouldn't let me type anything in the box.. but when I try it with IE it works just fine.

    Yes there's an issue with Mozzila concerning the New Flash Layout. Can't be avoided I'm afriad. Everyone has IE though, so use it for a temporary solution.

    It's worth the 3 mins to download the file than 30+ mins.... image

    Sorry for the appearance of the site at the moment too, over the weekend my Host decided to wipe my Databases... well it wasn't really their fault but it left my site somewhat bare...

    Working to resolve this ofcourse but if you would like further information regarding the site drop me a line. We're open to the public.

    it is a great looking site nodought. and php-nuke is a great free software for websites. just sometimes it gets really tired of all the people i guess and changes the codes to the login when you click teh login button.

    the wow open beta client @ 2.5GB through a 56k connection is about 173 hrs continuous download (a little over SEVEN days !)

    The security code will only change if the page changes... so if you enter in the wrong login information or have your cookies disabled.... But it's there to prevent bot attacks and other malicious crap... I could disable it, but ya know what i mean.... image

    Thanks for the support guys aswell. Even if you don;t belong to the Blood Clan your more than welcome to drop by. There was and will be again tons of content for entertainment aswell as open discussions on any topic you wish... etc etc etc lol.. just lille ole' me doing all the work so it takes time (again) image

    PS - If the present look isn't working for you, just change it to some generic pos provided in the "your account" options under themes....

    EDIT: Also - If you have any Home MP3's you'd like to get some publicity with, submit them and I'll host them on the site's MP3 Player. Always looking for good talent. Or your fav songs.

    I get the same error... do we need to open certain ports or something to be able to d/l it?

    I think Blizz found a way to block people who aren't legitimately in the Final Stress Test. I get the same error from the downloader I got from the link posted on these boards earlier.  The one that was from www.worldofwarcraft.com

    now as i try to download i get the message"download not authorized by tracker".have a fix please?

    Ok the Defaul settings Are as follows:

    Click on preferences and set the Port Range From 10000 To 60000 and select Randomize.

    Then Click on Details and be sure the "Announce" is http://12.129.232.125:3724/announce

    If this does not work then here is something else that works.


    1) Get the trial of PE Explorer from http://www.heaventools.com/download.htm?r1=pex_nm


    2) Install PE Explorer, run it and open up BlizzardDownloader.exe from your WoW directory.

    3) Go to View -> Resources. Expand the TORRENT item, right click on one of the resources (I used 108) and go to Save Resource As. Save it to your desktop.

    4) Rename the file you save as to something with a .torrent extension (I used blizz.torrent)

    5) Load the .torrent file up in your Bittorrent client.

    Now, I use BitTornado, and it had a problem with the tracker URL in the torrent file (I assume Blizzard has modified the format for their own purposes). The .torrent you get from the EXE has the following announce url:

    http://206.16.234.125:3724/announce

    Under Bittorrent's Advanced dialog I was able to use External Announce button to put in each of the announcers one at a time (http://12.129.233.80:3724/announce and then http://12.129.233.81:3724/announce)

    I was getting about 20k up and down before, and I'm already getting 180k+ down and filling my upstream.

    To Blizz: Sorry if you don't want people doing this, but I don't believe you've ever publicly stated that we MUST use your modified BT client. But now that you've removed the CD-Key requirement from your client, I see it as just being crippled. 3rd party BT clients are FAR better.

    There is no way of doing that via Bit Torrent.

    I'm getting the same error from the downloader that I got through the link posted earlier (the file that was hosted on the WoW site).  So they must have done SOMEthing, eh?

    the download will eventually go through, at least it did for me.the message stopped after a while and the file is downloading, although it is going very slowly, only 12kb a second on a cable connection.i rarely use torrents, so is there something i can do to improve speed, or is it slow because of the amount of hits on the link?

    You should have downloaded the installer from Blood Clan and executing it from your PCr which inturn starts the Torrent. Do not run the Torrent from Blood Clan. lol.

    This is an open beta you said right? So why is there a "Key" needed? Also, where do we get a key?

    If you downloaded a copy from Fileplanet you will need a Key.

    If you were not in the previous Stress Test or Closed Beta, you will need to register a new account, via www.worldofwarcraft.com

    I went there, and tried to register an account, and it says an Auth Key is needed... =(
