Long time MMO player looking for game!
Hey there everyone,
II am an old school UO player.. the type that everyone looks at and says.. WTF GET OVER IT!!! Well I cant but thats not teh point 
I am current waiting for Darkfall Online, which I believe will likely be a good game... but I really dont want to get into an arguement about it.. its not the point of my post.. im here for two reasons.. first I want to find a game to play in the mean time until Darkfall comes out.. also I want a game to continue to play if Darkfall fails...
I realise there is no real game available for my tastes.. a sandbox that is.. so dont worry about it.. I want to try and find a game fo rme and my friend (we are both the same way) and go into it totally open minded... I dont mind P2P at all.. money isnt an issue.. even if I have to buy 5 expansions I dont care...
I would like a game where there is a lot to do.. where there are cool people to hang out with.. I like good combat.. but lots of alternative things to do.. buy houses.. decorate them.. PvP (although I dont see the point of world PvP in level based games cuz u will always lose to higher levels, but good end game pvp would be nice).. i also like shit loads of fluff.. stuff to collect.. ect
I like that there is a card game in EQ2 and its one of the games I'm looking at.. in what way is it different than WoW?
I will even give wow a chance.. considering I havent played it in 3 years and I hear its a lot different..
I want a game that is release.. not a game thats in beta or is about to relese.. I'm tired of waiting for games...
SO anyway, I would liek to start a discussion. What is the best game for me?
Edit: btw my comps a beast.. I can play anything.. but I dont mind playing good or bad graphics.. UO to Crysis works heh

If you plan to play a game with your friends, you might want to try Savage 2

Savage 2 requires a lot of team work in order to win so playing with friends is even better. The game offers 2 type of gameplay: RTS (Commander) will have an top-down view of the map and will be able to create buildings and develop their income in order to defeat the opponents and help his team (similar to Warcraft III gameplay). FPS (soldiers) will have the FPS /TPS view and will fight and support their allies, conquer land to allow the commander to expand his terittory ("BattleField" meet "The Elder Scroll" gameplay). Thought it is not an RPG with no housing system etc, it offers great PvP allowing players to fight on equal ground regardless of their level (Like Warcraft III, in each game you join, your hero starts at level 1 and will level up as you kill enemies or contribute to your team. Everytime you join a new game you will be level 1 again).
As for an MMORPG with a housing system and a lot of things to do, I suppose Runes Of Magic would be a good idea. (many people call it a WoW clone though).

I'm not really looking for non-mmo games.. i have a number of good ones on my list to play.. but I'm looking for a MMO..
Is EQ2 very different from wow? why is it better or worse?
