I guess if you mean real time like most mmo's, but to be a villain, I don't know because you can make a nemesis, so in truth you may have to check on the website.

Not sure what the plural of 'Nemesis' is, but shouldn't they work both ways?
I think the official line is 'Maybe', but since I usually play 'Evil' in Fantasy Games I certainly hope so!

I don't know, it is called Champions Online, I think that it would not be associated with villains, I really hope so because I played COV more than COH

From what i understand the answer to as whether you can be a villain at this time is no.But then again they are not revealing everything at this time and will not give out all there secrets until the game is actually out on the market.
They have let it be known though that one of there expansion games will be called shades of gray and will in fact allow you to create a hero that walks the fine line between good and bad (wolverine)
