Hi everyone,
I've played WoW on and off for 2 years, this is the first time I went past level 55. I love doing Instances but never did Dire Maul. Before I get a group I like to do some research. However using alakhazam, and Thottbot as my reference for Dire Maul it"s only confusing me more this time.
You have East, West and North along with needing keys. All the walk troughs that I've found seem to be bad.
So can someone give me a good walk through ?
Seems this and upper and lower Black Rock Spier are very un popular because of the hoops you have to jump.

It's pretty straightforward in the sense that if you haven't completed one side, you can't proceed to the more advanced ones. This designed was shared with other dungeons of the classic WoW (Scarlet Monastery and Blackrock Depths come into mind).
DM East is the easiest, and will give you the DM Key so you can get into West and North and also the Library. DM West should be done next, it's also required for a couple of class quests, Pali and Warlock mounts I believe.
DM North can be run in two ways, standard way by killing all the bosses as you go. Or by doing the 'Tribute run'. Which means you kill none of the bosses except the last, there is a specific strategy for doing it and you can find these on alk, etc... the loot at the end is pretty good too.
Try WoW Wiki. It doesn't have a walkthru, but gives a lot of information on the instance as a whole.

Thanks everyone
I'm getting a group tonight, did a dry run with my rogue, and I take it that you need to follow the Inp in the east, and kill him at the end to get the key to drop for the west and north, right ?
Yes, but he either spawns a bigger demon or grows into a bigger demon so it isn't an easy fight... been a while since I did it so I may be slightly off on my description.
Correct..the Imp Does spawn into a demon and he drops the key for ya..good luck
