Best solo classes?

in Everquest II

  was wondering what the best characters were for solo play. theres times when i only have an hour or so to play and times when i just want to play alone and was wondering what the best type of character to play solo. ill have another for group play, so this character will only be solo. hopefully some beta testers will be able to help me out. thanks.

    Historically, pet classes are the easiest for solo play. Because you are never really alone! :)

    First off, i am not in beta....

    not in beta, not in beta, not in beta....

     

    but i'm guessing necros will still be the best solo'ers....  they SHOULD still have DoTs/Pets/Lich/BoD...

    just no fear kiting from what i understand... which is gimpy but i guess i can survive...

    I'm currently enjoying playing my druid solo. I have a couple pretty good nukes, a heal over time, damage shield, etc... Plus, I can heal myself after and during combat which decreases downtime. Ive never felt comfortable with pure casters like sorcerers and necros so i cant comment on how they are to play.

    From what I've seen priest classes solo the best... although there really isn't a bad soloing class.

    all classes are supposed to be able to solo, soplay what you like.
