So I know people have mentioned that Funcom was gonna do some kind of win back program, but has funcom actully realesed anything offical about it?

I believe they have said that there will be a win back program once the game is "ready". It's understandable that they don't do it earlier. They have to make sure people don't quit the game again like they did the first time.
We might get some information once DX10 hits live servers. But what I've heard that could take a while..
Yes, FC is working on a trial.
They will probably launch the trial in around 2 months.

The only worth while win back program is the one that refunds players that bought their product. I wish someone could get away with sueing funcom for releasing such junk. I am afraid to pre-order another game after my AoC experience.

Author's Note in regards to rampant mod tweaking: If you sell excretion, it then becomes a product. Changing words doesnt change the meaning.

Oh i dunno..maybe the fact the game was incomplete and imbalanced across the board. When they got rid of a bunch of classes and merged them together, some hybrids were way over powered. Rediculous prices for just about everything, half the game wasnt working. I was the guild leader of a 200+ player guild. Everyone started to leave because none of the promised patches were coming. PvP updates? hah. Everytime funcom gave a date, it never happened. 100's of secret nerfs to classes who needed buffs, and buffs to classes who needed nerfs. GMs were helping some players cheat while others were mass banning people for no damn reason. There was no good content in the game, it was incomplete, especially with the second half of the game. PvP was a joke after awhile. Their culture pvp server was also a joke, they never did anything about it, eventually people tried to force it into a FFA server but using same culture characters to cheat in pvp, because you cannot attack them. The FFA servers were a mess, mass portal camping, hundreds of ToS spamming aoe attacks left and right. Tons of broken skills for the classes that needed huge boosts, no fixes ever came. Lie after lie from Funcom.
The product they released was bad. Even after building a city it did us no good. Took months just to put in some NPCs, and half the time they disappeared. Your own guards would attack you. Sieges were broken, and from when I quit, they still had not been fixed. Funcom lies about what they are working on. The promised content ends up being pushed back into an xpack people have to pay for 1 year later. HA! what a joke. Dirx 10? Every time Funcom tossed in a patch, the game became more and more broken. Downtime every single day at one point. The loss of items never returned by funcom. Customer support that ignores its customers. Way too much false advertisement. Minigames? haha they didnt work most the time.
There was too much wrong with both the game and the company.

Original Author Note: I prefer the word "utter crap" best describes AoC (instead of the word Bad), If the mod in question has an aversion to the word "crap", I apologize. Grown ups tend not get squeemish when using and reading the word. Stop censoring acceptable wording. Making it G instead of PG is just a waste of your time. The best mods are the ones that dont feel they have to edit everything just to pass the time.
The Mod/Avery still needs to put back Hamrtime2's post which expressed feeling ripped off for purchasing the $100 collectors edition. Stop with the censorship, images of this thread will be posted and sent to the admin to decide on whethor or not this behavior is healthy for a community based website. Censor the community for expressing their opinion, and you stand to lose them.

Sure his post was an angry one but I don't see why posts like that should be deleted. I mean this is a forum, right? We should be able to talk about things, right?
I can understand why obvious troll, shill or personal attack posts are deleted but to delete a comment just because it's a negative one? That's just wrong.
