when i start my game i come to log in screen i type my username and password. then there goes a little time after i press play there come a sign up where there stands: the file "version.id" is missing-
i have tryed to re-install and it dont work.
plz help

NOTE:
This tool will not work if you have an error message saying the version.id file is missing. That is a major installation problem, and must be fixed by uninstalling, deleting the AO directory, and reinstalling.

Make sure you uninstall, delete the directory then reinstall.

it still dont work after re-intall what can i do
1) Delete the current install directory
2) Install the large client and, if you are using Vista, put it anywhere but in the Program Files directory

now i have re-installed 10 times .
the game says that fu&#in file still missing way this happens
...and now you should give up and play something that works and overall is worthwhile!
What install client version do you have, did you use a disc or download it, if you downloaded did you get the small install or the large, did you have any problems downloading it, have you tried downloading a new version, try a diffrent download link?

P.S. i take it you have checked the AO forum's tech support ?
good idea this game is crap now in my mind.
