Is there an official explanation why the Darkfall forums have been down for days now?

This is crazy. What does this say about the quality of the game itself?

Only 3 days so far.
I don't know what this says about the quality of the game. I assume the game servers are not similar to the server that hosts their forums
There is no DDOS attack. the beta account page was hacked big time and accounts were compromised.
The official word i have is the site was shut down because they are making a new one. It may have to do with the attack... their own plans... or a mixture of both comnig together at the same time or pushing things forward more quickly.
Because it's less than a month before Darkfall is released and so Tasos must do his annual "Hide for a Year" game.

Now THAT would say a lot about the game (or lack of game).
We will soon see if that is true, februari 25.
The game is too succesful, despite their best efforts.

How can you say that when there has been no official news posted from Aventurine about why the forums are down. If I am wrong please link it.
If a hacker can take down their forums for 3 days without them being able to prevent it, it tells me their security protocol is crap and that the same thing can be done to their world servers or worse, that someone can hack individual players accounts.

well all the sites BUt darkfall forums are up and running.. what does this mean ? it would seem they took them down .. but that is crazy with the big free trial happening or was going to happen .. we get no informatiom.. that does not seam like a good ideal for a company launching pre-orders in two weeks.. we need to hear if not try the game features...

Heh, folks, I wouldn't fear. I... can't confirm or deny that I'm in the beta, but I'm certainly not denying it. Just relax guys, I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised.
