So 12 hours of downloading later.. I run the installer.. it gets to unpacking terrain .mpq... and then prompts me to insert disc 2??
That really sucks.
Anyone have any ideas?

J/k... I do not know what to tell you. I've been downloading since 2pm EST and I'm only 93% done with the download.
Lots of people with this problem, not seen a solution yet. I'm installing atm so if i encounter the same prob i'll try to work on a solution and post it here.
God damn its 1:15am and i've got work in the morning...good job i'm my own boss lol

Where are you seeing other threads of this? I've been to WoW forums and can't see anyone with a similar problem.

Try here....most of the threads getting locked down though as the board was spammed with them (not just your problem but others).
I have been board watching for hours now while the DL finished and have seen numerous threads on the topic.

Yeah.. tried hitting yes... what did you guys use to unzip?
Used winzip myself, it said my file was corrupted... but it said the same thing about the other stress test client and the old one worked fine. My zip file was missing the installer.exe (dont ask me why) but a kind feller sent it to me over IM and it worked fine. Maybe your missing an MPQ file or your files are not the correct size? Try to confirm correct MPQ sizes. Also I had 4 installer tomes, and the guy who gave me the installer.exe also had a less than 2 mb installer 5 tome... which was wierd... I had him send it to me while was installing just in case... heh.
I got the torrent and it downloaded by the time I woke up in the morning to go to class. I installed it before I left and got as far as entering the CD key...how much I'd love to complete the process.

Try using winrar, thats what I use always to unzip things, it might just fix your problem, but im not sure, good luck though!
