Hi there, I was just wondering when this is going to be available in the UK? I've had a look around but I can't find a date, can anyone help with this info?

I was at the local Muller this weekend (a retail chain here in Germany) and they had this game on clearence already for 14.99 Euro.
Dunno what the future is like for this game....
The game will be available in UK at same time than in north America. UK players are banned from euro servers, you need to wait for the North American released.
And no, Im not joking.
I wouldn't say they're banned from the European servers as they'll play together with people from Spain, Portugal,Italy,Poland,Eastern Europe,Russia and Turkey. In Addition to almost the rest of the gaming world.
the point of the matter is your not even aloud to register to their forums unless you paid for the game... it's a joke... I want god damn answers as to when it's released in uk ... if this carrys on ill dump the game

It is strange that the "Forums" link on the main TCoS site takes you to a forum that you can't register on. I am guessing that forum is for players in the released region (and perfectly usable for those with free subs as well). It was an oversight in their IP blocking strategy I guess. Regardless, I still like to read those forums so I am glad I have access to them.
I mean no offense, but why do you feel entitled to a release date? Rest assured that they want to have you playing and paying for their game as soon as possible. Releasing the Jan. 9 date backfired on them when they had some unexpected delays. They probably don't want to make the same mistake twice. I'd rather have no date than to have a date that is incorrect at this point.
But if you see another game that want to play then don't bother waiting for TCoS. It will still be here when you're done and it will likely be in much better shape after the delay. I've been playing LoTRO while I wait. I dislike the combat in the LoTRO, but other than that, the pacing and atmosphere isn't entirely different than TCoS.

If the game is arleady released in other parts of the world is it that difficult to give a released date ?
The game is finished if it released elsewhere already and as such all other issues will have finite completion times and so a release date should be annouced.
Dont these people want to hype their product? Most sales are based on hype !
How can they release a game in europe and not include the UK, after all UK is the capital of Europe is it not
as said im a potential customer and was closely thinking about register for the game and subbing but i wont do until it is available in my country... also lack of people in the game is a problem ...

If only it were that easy. However if you consider that it is not the same server and has a different version of game guard, then it beocmes a little more problematic than to go down to a server room, plug in a server and put a client on it.
Acclaim has no reason to purposefuly delay launch...

Yet another promising MMO taht will get "corn-holed" by "The Man"
User banning based on regions.. time delays across the world.. some can test while some cannot --> ill pass on this one even tho i was abit interested by the trailer.

yes this game was on my map for playing <US > but by the time we see it here it will be another mmo that will die from lack of players and have such a bad rep no one will want to play it..o well many more games coming out guess add to the T-can list of to bad so sad...

Whoever cooked up the business model for this one deserves to be fired - some EU countries play away happily while the rest of the gaming world - the majority of the gaming world - sits on the sidelines, only able to watch and silently get more and more pissed off with the whole idea of TCoS.
By the time it does come out, it may well be irretrievable due to ill-will in the gaming community, engendered by the idiotic way this game was launched.
The only way this could work is if they had maintained excellent communication with the potential player base, keeping them informed of reasons and schedules at all times, but they failed miserably there and may well have doomed themselves and the game.
PS - Could somebody explain how you can be an advanced member with 4 posts and an apprentice member with 105?

Pretty poor way to release a MMO.
Still, look on the bright side, saves you the trouble of actually trying/buying it when/if it releases in the UK
Be paid for Beta Testing, don't pay to Beta Test.
