Yeah it will work fine on that computer.

I got 3,2Ghz, 1gig ram, ATI Radeon 9800XT and i can tun it in 1280*1024 in high detail. If you really want to buy someting to make inte better buy more ram.

With that rig, you could run mid to high level details in 1024x768 while still getting good fps. The gig of ram and the nice processor will easily make up for you having a mid-range gfx card.

you will definitly be able to run the game at high or better settings.
    I have:

    2 gig P4
    768 megs of ram
    256 meg radeon 9600

I can run with mostly high settings at 1280x758
you will have no problem at all

As I don't want to create another thread on the same subject, I figured I'd just post it in this one. Would my system run EQ2?

    Pentium IV 2.6GHZ
    256MB RAM
GeForce FX 5600 Ultra 128MB AGP

Would this be sufficient to play the game, and on which settings (if at all)? I realize I dont have a lot of memory, but will I need to buy more to play the game at all?

i would definately upgrade 2x512mb sticks, from http://www.newegg.com dont run too much these days. 1024mb ram is the recommended 512mb ram is the minimum.

    FYI I have:

    Pentium 4 2.6 GHZ

1 GB PC3200 DDR RAM at 400 mhz

Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT 256 MB

I currently am running High Quality at 1280x1024 resolution and it runs like BUDDAH both in and out of cities.  If I move it up to Very High Quality then it starts to get a little choppy.
