Okay, so I'm buildinga computer and the hickup I have it the mobo and cpu
I was going to get an Asus, but I saw some bad reviews about it.
Can anyone give me some advice on what mobo and cpu to buy for high-performance gaming?
Also, it needs to be compatible with OCZ high performance RAM.
Thanks.

Greetings Lydeck,
Asus is just fine, its all about the specific part really. I'll recommend what I know to be solid and cheap (yet fast). Just to be sure on the memory, please list its details here.

Those should do you well. May I ask what other components you are going to use? I may be able to find you some deals there as well, if you like.

Thank you very much for your help, however ... I've decided to reconsider upgrading my PC at the moment.
With Windows 7 coming out in the near future, and the fact that my PC can run any game very well on 'at least' Medium, I've decided to put off upgrading until the fall.
I bought a PS3 instead.
Oh, well no reall hurry to uppgrade anyways but you might consider a better GFX card and some more memory to get more out of what you have without paying too much cash. You can probably also clock up your processor a bit, depending on your processor you might be forced to change the fan on it however (particulary for AMD, they tend to get hotter than Intel.
You can also clock up your GFX card if it have a fan but a new one will give better performance and it doesn't cost that much.
And while I am at it: 10 years ago there was 2 good manifacturers of MB: ASUS and A-BIT. Asus moved their factory and started to use cheaper components, and after that they had a lot of problems. A-BIT is still very good (but not their low budget Fatality cards) but they are very expensive.
Best budget cards today are MSI and Gigabyte, I prefer MSI myself (Well, I use A-BIT but when I build for friends I usually use MSI, the difference in price is a lot). Others prefer Gigabyte but both those brands deliver good cards for a cheap price.
And don't forget to buy Soul Calibur IV for your PS3, it rocks
