EQ2 Newbee Question

dredgedredge Member Posts: 13

Hi guys, I was just wondering about the layout of EQ2.  I'm in the beta and I started out in a ship, then in a zone with some monsters attacking a fort, and now I'm in Baubleshire.  All of my time in EQ2 has been spent in these small zones.

Is there a large world like other MMORPGs that I will be allowed to enter once I'm no longer a newbee? Or is this just how everquest 2 is designed- lots of small zones?

In a word....YES. There are huge areas. Fear not, there are land big enough to get lost in. Very Lost!

I had that same concern when i first started too. dont worry, soon enough you will be longing for the days when you could walk quickly from zone to zone and complete quests in 15 minutes.

Once you are out of the cities, the areas are huge
