Yo listen up: here's a story
About a little guy
That lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees is
Just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue Corvette and everything is blue for him
And himself and everybody around
'Cause he aint got nobody to listen: ...
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I have a blue house with a blue window
Blue is the color of all that I wear
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here that walk around
Blue like my Corvette it's standing outside
Blue are the words I say and what I think
Blue are the feeling that live inside me
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I have a blue house with a blue window
Blue is the color of all that I wear
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here that walk around
Blue like my Corvette it's standing outside
Blue are the words I say and what I think
Blue are the feeling that live inside me
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
Just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue Corvette and everything is blue for him
And himself and everybody around
'Cause he aint got nobody to listen: ...
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)

Uuuggh, i hope thats a joke, i thought that song stopepd playing about 8 years ago. besides, it cant be the best song in the world since this is:
BEST SONG EVER
Pfft, i heard that song, it sucks, its nothing compared to the one i linked
Usually I accept other peoples oppinions, but sheesh! That has got to be the worst song i've ever heard, not to mention it's about 4 years old.
There is no best song in the world, but if you want alot of good songs get music from Children of Bodom, YEEEEAAAAOOOOWWW!!!
here's my favorite
Sun coming up over New York City
School bus driver in a traffic jam
Staring out at the faces in a rear view mirror
Lookin at the promise of the Promised Land
One kid dreams of fame and fortune
One kid helps pay the rent
One could end up going to prison
One just might be president
Only in America
Dreamin' in red white and blue
Only in America
Where we dream as big as we want to
We all get a chance
Everybody gets to dance
Only in America
Brooks and Dunn "Only in America"

i know why thats murts song.. because they just played it after bushes speech
not just this speech, they play it at every rally
When i was a volunteer last week at Bush's rally last week here near my house, the day before the rally we chose that song to be played after he left, and before Sean Michaels spoke.
then during the rally they played it obviously.
and they do play it at every rally, sure that's one of the main reasons it's my favorites, but it's just so patriotic
*don't flame me politics wise on this..cmon, i was stating my favorite song!

I HATE that song... And whoever said Tenacious D's The Greatest Song in the World, you'd know that song is just a tribute to the greatest song in the world! The said song, is a mystery... known only by the devil!
Heh, that's a kickass song though. Greatest song = Casey Jones by The Grateful Dead
Ridin that train, high on cocain.
Casey Jones is ready, watch your speed.
Trouble ahead, trouble behind.
Don't you know that notion, just crossed my mind.
Catchiest refrain ever!

I listened to that song once... and I managed to get it out of my head about a week ago after 5 years of hell.
Thanks.

I'll let someone else say who wrote this, just so I can see who else knows what the hell it is.

Its sort of impossible to set something as "The best song ever..", or, "The best song in the world..", because everyone has different tastes, likes different styles of music, and thats one of the great things about music. Think back through the ages at how much music must have been created, and except for obvious duplicates (cover versions and the like), every piece has been different. Amazing!
I can't even begin to decide what my favorite is, because 9 times out of 10 it depends on my mood. Some awesome songs that I never tire of though:
The Smashing Pumpkins - 1979, Coldplay - Clocks, Danzig - Her Black Wings, Garbage - You Look So Fine, Jane's Addiction - Three Days, Kate Bush - Hello Earth, Nine Inch Nails - Something I Can Never Have, Sneaker Pimps - Destroying Angel, The Cure - The Same Deep Water As You, Soundgarden - 4th of July, Blur - Song 2.
And thats just for starters. As you can probably see, I have a variety of tastes in music.
But now for some smilies:
Leme guess, you're the type of person that gives 6 hour lectures about how different death metal and metal are.
Rock, metal and any other natural or manufactured resource you call music is dead.

Bah! Metal is not dead! No type of music dead... that's such a horribly stupid statement. Not dissing you.. just the statement.
My choice for best song... "Every Sperm is Sacred" by Monty Python. Or any of their songs for that matter... sooo funny.
"Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great... if a sperm is wasted, god gets quite irate"
