well the problem is, your level 56.. i enjoyed the game too.. back then. Once you hit 80, then let us know how it is.

A lot of us play for the journey friend, not the destination...

Which frankly, the journey ended for me at 54 because it was so boring. 80 is probably even worse.

I also took a few months off. Came back a couple weeks ago. I decided to delete every last one of my characters and started over fresh on the new server.

I am enjoying it immensely. The technical issues that made it horrible before seem to be gone.

I am in no hurry to get to level 80. I'll play a mix of toons and try to enjoy them along the way.

Even if that journey dries up at around the level 60 mark?  Even so, the journey must come to an end at some point (level 80) and then theres a whole world of nothing to do awaiting you, I cant imagine the game has changed that much.

Lucky for me i had an awesome guild, and we all grinded our way when there was no quests to be had. Since the only way to level, was to grind after you ran out of quests.

I thought about re subbing, but im not going to. My choice. Im going to wait for Darkfall and hope that offeres something decent.

All journeys dry up eventually, in all games. Even with enough raid content, you might get bored of raiding.

Then it's up to the players to find something fun to do, or just move on to something else.

Anyway my advice would be to not rush to endgame, but take your time to enjoy a game when you level. If you start to get bored or tired, then logoff and do something else for awhile.

Agreed, enjoy it lasts, 'cause when you re-roll walking again in the exact same footsteps gets old really fast.

The journey don't dry up at the high 50ies because they added a new zone to that leveling gap. The game is constantly being developed and is expanding. It was true at launch that you hit the wall at lvl 55 or so, but that is not the current state of the game. The other often offered myth is that there is nothing to do at 80, which is bollocks. There is quite a lot to do for a newly released game, both PvE and PvP wize, and there will be more, starting with the next patch.

You have alot of quests / content all the way to lvl 73. After 73 you will have most dungeon quests and some solo quests but not many. So your info is wrong m8.

Seconed nothing to do at 80 ? PVP ? Sieges ? Raids <--- 11 raid bosses atm. Yes you have stuff to do at lvl 80. And with the new patch you will have 2 new lvl 80 dungeons and pvp-resources, even more stuff to do at 80.

? I have yet to experience what you are talking about. You know, sometimes you might get PWNed in PvP by people just because they are better than you. Better as in better skill and/or better feat setup.
