It's nice to see a bunch of new faces over at the guild website. Going to be tons of fun going into a game with such a strong guild base of players, and long time friends.

Well if you can't access the site or get cut off I apologize, it's going down any time now to be moved to a new server, seems we kidna overloaded the ones we were on last night during the guild contest.

Just a quick update on whats been going on in the world of Desolation.
We just recently activated our 100 user Ventrilo server and registered our IRC channel. The IRC channel is still a lil slow to take off, but the Ventrilo server will be used heavily during gaming I'm sure. We've used it in prior games and it has been extremely helpful.
Our membership has been steadily rising over the past weeks, and here as the end of beta draws near over 30 of our members have been able to participate and test out the game, getting to know the game and preparing for release. Needless to say Deso is ready to hit the ground runnign when the game hits shelves and we're still looking for a few more good members who still remember that these are games, and games are meant to have fun. We're not a guild out to be the most "uber" or whatever. We're out to have fun, regardless of what we're doing. So if you're lookign for the best guild out there, the "uber raiding guild" or whatever they're calling themselves these days, you might as well look elsewhere. However if you're looking for a fun, social-orientated guild full of people who are both new to the guild and have been with us for 3+ years, all of whom get along great and have an absolute blast no matter what we're doing, we might just be the guild for you!

I love the sound of this guild. It seems to carry the same philosophy I do about gaming. I just want to have fun! And it's so hard to find an active guild ... at least, in my experience. 5 more days!
Sounds like fun. I've enjoyed what bit of beta I got to play and I've decided to buy... with release a few days away and having not pre-ordered I figure it may be a few days before i get in but I'd like to be in a good guild like yours
So are you still accepting applications? I'm not a power player, but i like to group and have fun. Where can i sign up?

Ok, after some MAJOR server problems, including a HDD crash, the guild site is back again. Anyone who has had problems accessing it over the past 24 hours, it's back up and running again!
