Amazon.  50 bucks new for the CE with free (aka slow) shipping.  Not trying to bust on you for selling it, but even as a "negotiable" price....$80, really?

    Just curious about something.

Since Warhammer has a TT following that is well established for collectibles...

If Warhammer was somehow taken down or ended up with 50k subs one day say... don't you think this CU would be worth more to the collector's then? That happens with other IPs. The breakfast cereal and movies crash, so the items surrounding the failure go up in value as most other people chucked theirs in the trash.

Might want to hold onto that CU. One day in 100 yrs it could be worth 10x what you are willing to negotiate it for now.

LOL you can buy collectors editions for warhammer at the store right now. The best buy where i live had like 10 on the shelves still.

I don't blame him for selling it.  I've closed three family accounts in the last day or so.  Believe it or not, we are all moving over to AoC.

I'm not sure AoC is there yet, but they have made positive strides if you have been following their organization.

They fired the hype guy and banished him to Siberia. Then they brought is someone who has experience managing a broken gaming product with proven results. The guy's first priority was to fix bugs from what I read, NOT add new classes and more fluff. That ensured that anyone trying the game after that point for the first time after the launch debacle was playing a fixed up and coherent game. He's putting most of his resources into securing his new accounts first, while attempting to please the older subs by fixing their needs.

Warhammer, on the other hand has a problem. The guy in charge won't fire himself as head and is mucking up the works. He's doing something like what Matt Millen did in Detroit. He's trying to be the GM AND the Head Coach at the same time, so he's not really accountable to someone on a day/day basis, just himself. EA only worries about quarterly, not the day to day stuff. They aren't hovering over his shoulder.

So Jacobs has no safety valve to tell him "No. Do NOT put that in there now. Fix the game now. Do that later."

Anyway, don't mean to hijack the thread, good luck on the sale!
